DIVING THE NORTHERN RED SEA
This itinerary is unique to say the least, and delivers something for everyone. Wrecks, reefs, walls, and big stuff!
Sailing from Hurghada Marina, Day 1 starts at Abu Nuhas for the four amazing wrecks that rest in the depths. Diving the SS Carnatic, the Marcus, Giannis D and the Kimon M before heading to Gubal for what is arguably one of the best night dives there is on The Barge.
Then we are off to the Thistlegorm, probably the most famous wreck in the World!
Then on to the Dunraven and the reefs surrounding her before going on to the beautiful, world class reefs of Ras Mohammed, in the famous marine reserve of the Sinai Peninsula. Next we sail to Tiran to dive the four fantastic reefs of Thomas, Jackson, Gordon and Woodhouse.
Making the return to Hurghada via Gift Island to dive the beautiful reefs there, this trip will deliver the best of the wrecks and the best of the reefs that the red Sea has to offer.
The itinerary may change due to weather, tides and the Captains decision, but it promises to WOW!
Suitable for all levels of divers, this is one of the best itineraries to undertake, and we know that there are going to be smiley faces for weeks and months to come following disembarkation!

The M/Y Big Blue, built in 2019 and launching in 2020, is a 42m steel liveaboard that can comfortably accommodate 24 divers. On two decks there are 12 ensuite cabins with individual air con, mini fridge and towels. The restaurant provides a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner with coffee, tea and water always available.
Big Blue is a fully equipped cruiser with a large salon with entertainment system and a spacious sun deck with a bar, in addition to a large covered area. The diving platform is large enough for all divers to kit up comfortably and two 40hp zodiacs transport you to dive sites with ease.

Roots Red Sea is managed by British owned and run Pharaoh Dive Club who have an unsurpassed reputation for friendly helpful staff delivering great personal service. Owners Steve and Clare have vast experience in the Red Sea having been working in the are for over 20 years.
At Roots there are 20 Deluxe Chalets, all sleeping two people in comfort. Air con, satellite tv, fridge and ensuite shower rooms. 12 Eco Huts are popular with groups providing simple accommodation at a very reasonable price. Meals are served in either the restaurant or at the beach. Sun loungers are available at the beach and the pool and spa just steps away from your room.
