The cemetery is situated to the southern side of the church and slopes gently downhill. A new lawn
cemetery is situated directly behind the church and a Memorial wall with plaques is in the north-
eastern corner.
The first transcription of this cemetery was done in 1979 by Mesdames Byron, Gibson and Taylor of
the South Auckland branch, NZSG. In 1984, it was retyped by Mrs T Wilson. The 1998 edition was
completed by Mrs B Merryweather, Mrs C Walters and G Aspinall, members of the Pukekohe Branch

In 2015 St Peter’s was transcribed and photographed by Madeleine Judson and Jacqui Ward
members of Franklin Branch NZSG.
