Refers to output from aquaculture activities, which are designated for final harvest for consumption (FAO, 2019). The difference between the value of export and import (PSA). These are parts of the sea partially enclosed by land and rich in fishery resources. Is well — marked indentation whose penetration is in such proportion to the width of the mouth as to contain land — locked waters and constitute more than a mere curvature of the coast. An indentation shall not, however, be regarded as bay unless its area is as large as, or larger than, that of the semi-cycle whose diameter is a line drawn across the mouth of that indentation (Annual Report, 1986-1991). A mixture of fresh and seawater. Fishery operations involving the harvesting of naturally occurring fisheries resources in both marine and freshwater environments; this includes commercial, marine municipal, and inland municipal fisheries. A seaweed extract used chiefly as a suspending agent or binder in foods, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and as industrial liquids; as a clarifying agent for beverages; and as an agent to control crystal growth in frozen confection. A waterway that passes between two land masses, connecting two bodies of water and permitting the passage of boats or larger vessels (Source: World Landforms). Used as an incoterm to mean that the total price of goods sold includes the price of transporting them by ship as well as the price of insurance (source: Cambridge Dictionary). Invertebrates with hard shells over the back portion of the body and along the claws but have softer shells covering the lower part of the body and legs i.e. crabs and shrimps. Refers to the external conditions that affect the culture of fisheries organisms, i.e. type of water, enclosure, and others. Data reported in current (or “nominal”) prices for each year are in the value of the currency for that particular year (source: World Bank). Refers to kinds of fish and other aquatic organisms that live near or on the (sea) bottom (BFAR CFD, 2022).
