Higher Education Bursary isn’t merely a monetary aid but also encouragement, spiritually
and mentally. It teaches me to face challenges with perseverance and optimism, contribute
back to society with kind deeds. We should also cherish what we have, always carry a
grateful heart, extending helping hands to those in need and passing on such noble qualities
to the next generation.

金菩提开示 Message From Grandmaster JinBodhi

犹太人被誉为智慧发达的民族，一
个小民族却出了那么多的学者和专家。
除了可能有遗传基因的原因外，不难发
现他们是非常注重教育，通过学习和吸
取知识才能改变贫困的人生，所以知识
就是力量。

马来西亚是一个非常美好温暖人心
的国家，但在这里还有很多人面对不如
意的人生，有些孩子来自单亲家庭或甚
至失去双亲，面对经济收入比较少，使
得来自这样家庭的孩子没有书读；或者
考上大学却缴不起学费。这一系列的状
况，都是因为各种的灾难和人生的不幸
而造成的。

我乐意在这方面出一点力，也希
望有缘的朋友和我一起来为马来西亚的
孩子们的读书教育，出一点力，发一点
心。如果人人都有一颗慈悲、善良、帮
助人的心， 那我们的社会一定会变得非
常的吉祥和美好。

我希望，马来西亚每一个孩子都有书读，都能学

到丰富的知识，这样他的人生才能变得精彩，才能改

从2015年，马来西亚菩提禅修慈 2020年，虽然在新冠疫情的笼罩

助学金介绍 Education Subsidies

慈善基金秉承“扶贫助学”的慈善宗旨，关注清寒
家庭孩子的教育事业而设立各项助学金项目。

金菩提助学金 JinBodhi Higher Education Bursary

金菩提助学金项目，专为清寒大学生提
供助学金，以扶持他们顺利在高等学府继续学
业。目前受惠生来自全国各地。每年，慈善
基金会通过颁发仪式将助学金给予有需要的学
生，包括来自公立大学、拉曼大学、拉曼大学
学院以及平衡点影视学院。
It was established to help the underprivileged who wish to further their studies in
tertiary education. The Charity Fund channelled bursary to needy students nationwide
through award ceremonies in every year, including from public universities, University
Tunku Abdul Rahman, Tunku Abdul Rahman University College and Point College.

小学助学金 Primary Education Subsidy

小学助学金项目是由慈善基金与全马118
所小学配合，资助小学生在校内一年所需学杂
费，包括参考书、文具或校内补习费等。通过
和校方合作，让来自贫困家庭的孩子免除学杂
费困扰，也可以有接受教育的平等机会。
The Charity Fund has collaborated with 118 primary schools across Malaysia on the
Primary Education Subsidy. It helps to subsidise the necessary miscellaneous fees in
school within a year including reference books, stationery, tuition fees, etc. This enables
the underprivileged students to have an equal chance of receiving education.

The Charity Fund focuses on poverty alleviation and education
assistance with the various subsidy programmes in place.

中学助学金 Secondary Education Subsidy

就读中学的孩子每月所需的学杂费或是补
习费，对于一般家庭而言是一笔沉重的开销，
当家中同时有两名或以上的孩子正在求学，整
个家庭要承受的压力更是数倍的。为此，慈善
基金资助中学生一年不超过2000令吉的助学
金，给予持续性的教育帮扶。
The monthly secondary school miscellaneous fees and tuition fees of a child is a
heavy burden to a lower-middle-income family. The burden multiplies when there
are two or more children in school. In view of this, the Secondary Education Subsidy
was established to grant the beneficiaries a maximum of RM2000 subsidy a year. This
ensures the continuity in education and not falling behind in their studies.

小六升中助学金 Primary Six To Secondary Education Subsidy

小学六年级升上中学后，清贫学子们都必
须换上中学校服和缴付其他中学杂费，对于清
寒家庭是另一种经济负担。此助学金项目，让
学生获得新校服以及200令吉的现金来缴付学
杂费，以减轻家庭开销也让他们可以顺利度过
小学升上中学的新里程。
The need to purchase new uniforms and to pay miscellaneous fees in school arises
when moving from primary six to secondary education. Undoubtedly, it is an extra
burden to the underprivileged families. This programme provides the underprivileged
students with new uniforms and RM200 worth of cash to pay the school fees.

920《慈善行》线上分享会

920 “Charity Journey” Online Sharing Session
慈善基金于去年中旬进行一场920《慈善行》线上分享会，邀请助学金受惠生分
享他们的故事。每位感动暖心的真实话语，感染着线上的观众，同时，也让在线的观
众更加了解慈善基金的帮扶和行善的意义。
在920《慈善行》直播中，大学生们特地来到现场准备一项大惊喜送给观众，就
是画出一幅漂亮的《菩提树》，每位大学生用心将一片片白色框框涂上璀璨的颜色，
看到最终成品时，大家都非常惊叹学生们的才华和用心，还有那颗感恩的心。
An Online Sharing Session named “Charity Journey” was organised by the Charity Fund
during mid-year of 2020. Beneficiary students got to share their stories and heartfelt
words of gratitude online which touched the hearts of many. At the same time, this
allowed the audience to better understand charity and the assistance as well as the
funding provided by the Charity Fund.
On that day, the beneficiary students also surprised the audience with a beautiful
painting of “Bodhi Tree”, it was drawn by every student involved as a surprise gift
to all contributors! Every piece of it shows the effort that the students poured in.
We were all amazed by their hard work and talents when the final outcome was so
pleasingly done!

中学生在线免费补习与《一簿一脚印》关怀册

Free Online Tuition for the Secondary Students and The
“Every Step Journal” Booklet
《一簿一脚印》关怀册是慈善基金对中学生的延续关怀，透过一页页的金菩提禅
语指引，让学生学会时间的分配以及对学习的坚持。此外，慈善基金也获得一位热心
教育人士的大力支持，特地在网上开办免费国语补习班，为中学生进行课业咨询及加
强学习强度，让中学生受益良多。
The “Every Step Journal” Booklet is an extended care given to the secondary beneficiaries.
The aphorisms from Grandmaster JinBodhi in every page of the booklet will guide
them about time management and perseverance in learning. Moreover, the Charity
Fund has received the help of a passionate educator who has conducted free Bahasa
Melayu online tuition classes for the secondary students to help improve and strengthen
their malay language skills.

Primary Six Learning Group
在行动管制令期间，学校因疫情而关闭一段时间，加上疫情反复无常，孩子们的
学习进度受到不同程度的影响。慈善基金关注学生的学习进度，特别为在籍的六年级
学生开办学习群组，让他们趁居家期间也能够以有趣的互动方式温习学校的课业。希
望他们可以保持对学习的兴趣，自律性的自习让他们得以跟上学业进度。
The children’s learning progress is hindered as schools were closed during the
pandemic. In view of this, the Charity Fund has initiated a Whatsapp group for the
primary six students, which allow them to revise their subjects from home through
interesting interactions in the group. The objective is also to maintain interest in
learning and cultivate the discipline of self-study so that they can keep up with
their studies.

Bodhi Love Spreads Across Malaysia

The Charity Fund cares for the education of the beneficiary students as well as their
physical and mental growth. Regular visits or follow ups were done to keep track
of their progress. Besides, the Charity Fund delivered caring gifts to beneficiary
families during the festive seasons, spreading a touch of warmth in their lives.

Dressed in red clothes to celebrate the Chinese New Year; Gifting
Cha Xiang Zhai’s mooncake during the Mid-Autumn Festival. Despite the smallness
of the gifts, each carries the sincere blessings of the Charity Fund and shares the
festivity of the season.

马来西亚菩提禅修慈善基金秉持尊老
爱幼的美德，尽起关爱老人的责任。

在2020年间，慈善基金共拨出约7万令吉，助养与关怀在全
马多个地区的孤寡老人。在疫情期间，慈善基金依然在双亲节通过
线上方式关怀老人们，让他们深受节日的温暖。
此外，慈善基金也关注弱势群体的需求，特别是来自低收入家庭和单亲家
庭。作为小学助学项目的延伸，慈善基金将深入援助特困个案家庭，通过家访深
入了解、研究针对性的帮扶方案、每月探访关怀，以尽最大的努力来改善孩子们
的成长环境。

希望这一份援助，能为老人与孩子们带来曙光，让他们对未来怀抱希望，
努力创造一个光明美好的未来。

Bodhi Meditation Malaysia
Charity Fund upholds the virtue
of “Respect the Aged and Care
for the Young”.

In 2020, a total of approximately RM70,000 was allocated to help the
elderly without kin in various areas of Malaysia. Despite the pandemic,
the Charity Fund celebrated Parents’ Day with the elderly online, bringing
warmth to their lives.

Moreover, the Charity Fund has reached out to the underprivileged
groups such as low-income and single-parent families. Through home
visits to further understand the families’ situation, an assistance
programme was launched for the families as a supplement to Primary
Education Subsidy. Regular visits were also conducted to keep track with
the children’s progress in school and their living environment.

The Charity Fund hopes that this will cast

brilliant light over the elderly and children,
inspiring them to strive for a better future.

疫情当前 逆风送温情

2020年，一场新冠病毒疫情， 金菩提宗师的慈悲引领下，给予社会大

2020年中旬，慈善基金获知在文
冬县的有3个原住民部落因行动管制令
而无法把农产品运出去销售，连微薄的
收入也没有了，生活变得更加困苦。因
此，在文冬县原住民发展局的安排下，
慈善基金载满物资的货卡车队翻山越岭
来到这些部落中，派发生活物资给予当
地原住民，大大的纾解他们的困境。

因为金菩提宗师的慈善理念，让
慈善基金在这个艰难时刻，仍然坚守播
撒菩提善种的信念和善举，让同在这片
蓝天下的你、我、他，都成为爱的给予
者，同时也是接收者。我们一起把爱循
环不断，让大爱不断地扩散。

facing a crisis when they were unable
