with the development of the COVID-19 pandemic in the field of academic activity, most or
all the didactic classes are conducted remotely via e-learning. This paper contains the
measurement of PO Attainment of Soil Engineering course (ECG353) in Diploma in Civil
Engineering programme before and after the pandemic. The measurement was done by
employing an effective system called i-RAS (Revolution on Assessment for Student
Monitoring System) that has been developed by UiTM Pulau Pinang and has been used
by Faculty of Civil Engineering in assessing the achievement of PO in every course for
Diploma in Civil Engineering (EC110). Result showed that students were able to adapt
with the new norm of learning by the satisfactory achievements of PO Attainment for both
semesters.

The Lisu nationality in Nujiang Prefecture is a minor nationality located in the southwest
border of China. Its traditional costume is the cultural heritage with local characteristics
and the crystallization of wisdom of the Lisu people. Most of the previous studies on Lisu
costumes were from a macro perspective. However, these studies did not specifically
focus on a specific area of Lisu costumes in-depth and division, nor did they conduct
research on the differentiation of Lisu costumes in a specific area. This paper discusses
the women’s costume of Lisu nationality in Nujiang Prefecture, including hat, upper
garment and lower garment. The objectives of this paper are to explore the different types
of Lisu women’s costume in Nujiang region from a microscopic perspective. This study
was conducted based on the theory of art anthropology, as it applied the method of field
investigation to sample and collect a number of clothing samples, and uses inductive
method to sort out and classify the clothing types of Lisu nationality in Nujiang, Yunnan
Province. The results showed that there are three different types of Lisu costumes in
Nujiang of the Lisu Autonomous Prefecture: Lushui type, Lanping type and Fugong type.
They were distributed in different regions and presented with different costume shapes
and characteristics, which are closely related to the life of the local Lisu minority. It is of
great significance for the diversified and sustainable development of Lisu ethnic costume
through a number of costume cases to investigate the types and distribution of women's
costume of Lisu nationality in Nujiang.

Hui Yi is the highest standard of ceremonial costume to the empress in Song Dynasty,
used for important occasions such as wedding ceremony, coronation, hold court,
ancestral shrine sacrifice. The purpose of this paper is to understand the religious
development of Song Dynasty society by the design elements of Hui Yi. This paper uses
the method of literature research, using the method of mutual demonstration of historical
books and image data to summarize the types of religious elements in the Song Dynasty
Queen's gown. By using interdisciplinary research methods, combined with art, sociology
and history, this paper analyzes the reasons for the formation of religious elements.
Studies have shown that the empress Hui Yi of the Song Dynasty followed traditional
Confucianism in costume forms and colors, and the accessories and patterns have
reflected Buddhist and Taoist elements. These are associated much with the religious
system and social customs of the Song Dynasty and have helped confirmed the
integration of the three religions of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism in the Song
Dynasty.

Key words: typical costume; Han nationality; traditional culture; clothing communication;
modern times
The typical dress of modern Han nationality is a part of Chinese traditional culture. In
ancient times, this kind of dress was popular among the public. However, with the
development of the time and people's ideas, the typical dress of modern Han nationality
73
has gradually been fading out. People put on modern clothing for social communication,
which has illustrated the traditional culture of modern Han nationality's typical costume. If
this situation is not reversed, it will inevitably lead to the defects of Chinese culture.
Therefore, in modern society, relevant methods must be adopted to realize the effective
dissemination of modern Han nationality's typical costumes. For this purpose, this paper
will discuss the significance and characteristics of modern Han nationality's typical
costume communication, analyze the development status of the costume communication,
and then put forward the main points of costume communication, communication methods
and precautions.

By using the methods of literature search and induction analysis, this paper combines the
theoretical research and practical exploration in the field of housing aging in western
developed countries and China, after France first entered the aging society. Based on
China’s national conditions, this paper summarizes the contents, characteristics, and
contributions of the main theories, and summarizes the supporting policies and
regulations for China’s active response to aging. In terms of practical exploration, three
basic models of aging adaptation in developed countries are extracted: public welfare
policy, nursing insurance system and market economy. The objectives, objects, contents,
advantages, and disadvantages of the transformation have been analyzed; while, the
practical exploration and problems encountered in China’s pilot cities for aging adaptation
have been summarized. Through comparative analysis, it is proposed that the advanced
experiences from the western countries should be learned to avoid their shortcomings in
the local conditions in China. It is also suggested that the transformation of the people,
the content and the processes shall take the road that is suitable for China’s housing
aging.

Keywords: One Belt One Road (OBOR), cross-cultural cooperation, study abroad, socio-
cultural conflict, tertiary education
The “One Belt One Road” or “Belt and Road” (OBOR) initiative was initiated since year
2013, which aims to create the world’s largest platform for economic cooperation,
including policy, economics, social and cultural cooperation, in order to achieve mutual
reciprocity and mutual benefits. In response to the development strategy of OBOR,
institutions of higher learning play important roles in cultivating talents and enhancing
cross-cultural cooperation. Thus, by studying abroad, it could be the best way to give
students a global perspective. As the worldwide trend is leaning towards globalization, the
tendency for students to study abroad has increased, especially for students who choose
to study abroad for tertiary education. Therefore, an effective syllabus can be developed
to reduce socio-cultural conflict between different countries, especially in teaching and
learning methods at the tertiary level of education. In such way, it is anticipated that the
development of cross-cultural learning syllabus would come out with positive impacts such
as to increase study abroad opportunities and learn cutting-edge knowledge, and reduce
the cultural and language conflicts through the convergency of education system.
