Odeneho Akwafo Akoto III, born on April 11, 1967, is the Paramount 151
chief of Akwamu Traditional Area in the Eastern Region, Ghana.
His father, Kinsley Aboakye Owiredu was an Agriculturalist and ODENEHO
his mother Christiana Boaheman Gyan, who also happens to be a AKWAFO
twin sister to the present Queen mother of Akwamu State, were AKOTO III
both Presbyterians. Nana was privately known as Bernard Aboagye PROF. NAA
Owiredu at the University of Central Florida, USA. Odeneho Akoto JOHN SEBIYAM
III started his basic education at Kwaku Boateng Experimental in NABILA
Koforidua for just a short period until his mother got admission to
the Training College, which called for his father relocating him to
Akwamu and enrolled him into the Asikuma Presby Primary.

He then proceeded to Anum Presbyterian Boys Boarding
Continuation School at Anum, since it was strictly a Presbyterian
school, he had all the good morals and ethical training from that
school making him what he is today. Nana had his "GCE" Ordinary
level certificate and “GCE” Advanced level certificate both at
Anum Presbyterian Secondary School and Tema Secondary
School respectively. Nana Akoto got admission to the Institute of
Professional Studies (IPS) and within the first year he traveled to
the States where he graduated at the University of Central Florida
(UCF) majoring in Health Service Administration.

He returned home to Ghana and commenced his first work at the
Tema General Hospital. Odeneho Akoto III was appointed chief
of Akwamu Traditional Area by his mother, Nana Afrakomaa II on
February 11, 2011 and was enstool as chief of Akwamu.

Prof. Naa John Sebiyam Nabila is the Paramount chief of Wulugu
Traditional Area in West Mumprusi District in the Northern Region.
He is also a Ghanaian geographer, academic and a board member
of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation.

Wulugu-Naba in 2008 became the President of the National House
of Chiefs and served for two successful terms. During his time as
President, Prof. used all avenues to preach peace to Ghanaians
especially during national elections, he authored the "National
House of Chiefs’ Code of Royal Ethics for Chiefs", which is a
reference material for the conduct of members of the House and
played several roles in advocating for improved health conditions
for medical personnel and patients.

John was a lecturer, Head of Geography and Resource Development
Department and an Associate Professor at the University of Ghana,
Legon. Naa Prof. S. Nabila was a member of the Council of State
during John Dramani Mahama’s administration. Prof. S. Nabila
was appointed as Board Member of the Ghana National Petroleum
Corporation by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in 2017. As
the Paramount Chief of Wulungu, Prof. has improved the livelihood
of his people by encouraging activities that promote peace and
development.

152 Daasebre Osei Bonsu II who is the second in command to the
Asantehene in the Asanteman community consisting of about 65
DAASEBRE paramountcies was enstooled on August 25, 1996. According to the
OSEI Asante Constitution, the Omanhene of Mampong occupies the Silver
BONSU II Stool which was created by Asante Chief Priest and Prophet, Okomfo
Anokye.

OTI He serves as Asanteman Kontihene (General of the entire Asante
BOATENG Army). Nana Boahen Anantuo, Mamponhene, served as the
commander of the Asante Army in the War of Liberation against
WHO'S WHO 2019 Denkyira. The defeat of Odeefuo Ntim Gyakari and Denkyira at Feyiase
remains a major landmark and serves as the beginning of Asanteman.
In matters of civil administration, the Mamponhene acts as Chairman
of the Asanteman Traditional Council and Asanteman Nhyiamu (Asante
Parliament) in the absence of the Asantehene. He is also Asanteman
Nifahene. Upon the death of the Asantehene, Daasebre Mamponhene
acts as ‘Nwisiahene’ of Asanteman, that is, as the guardian (King) of
the bereaved Asanteman. Once a new Kumasehene is enstooled,
that person is introduced to Mamponhene and other Amanhene of
Asanteman. Upon their acceptance, the Kumasehene swears the oath
to become Asantehene.

Among other services, Daasebre is a member and permanent Vice-
President, Asante Regional House of Chiefs, Chairman of the Standing
Committee, Asante Regional House of Chiefs, and Chairman of the
Standing Committee of Asanteman Council.

The Paramount Chief of New Juaben Traditional Area, Daasebre
Oti Boateng, known in private life as Dr. Oti Boateng, is an
academician who has served to the best of his knowledge and
ability his Traditional Area, Ghana and the United Nations. For
his distinguished services in Statistics and as a Commissioner
of the United Nations, Daasebre Oti Boateng was decorated as a
21st Century Role Model by the State University of New York at a
high-profile event in Geneseo, New York, on 14th May 2016 with an
honorary degree of Doctor of Laws.

The prestigious honour by the State University of New York, one
of the exceptional moments in the life of the largest University
System in the United States of America, was also in recognition
of his exploits in global scholarship, international civil service
and leadership. The University described him in an accompanying
citation as a 21st century leader for projecting an iconic brand
of personality that bridges modernity and tradition in global
excellence. His accomplishments as a teacher and scholar with
a unique ability to apply knowledge to national and international
policy and his long-standing role and impact as a member of the
International Civil Service Commission were also cited as deserving
tributes of a true legend.

As a professional he believes that the surest way for accountants
to remain relevant in their profession was to inculcate in
themselves the trinity of values, namely; integrity, competence,
and transparency. He is an alumnus of University of Ghana, London
School of Economics and Political Science, and, University of
Liverpool.

154 Joe Ghartey is the Minister of Railways Development. He is a product of the University of
Ghana’s Faculty of Law. By dint of hard work, he rose from the level of a Pupil to become an

GHARTEY firm Ghartey & Ghartey was established 1995.

He has years of teaching experience at the Ghana School of Law, University of Ghana, and
the Ghana Institute for Management and Public Administration.

As a politician Lawyer Ghartey has held several positions including: Member of Parliament;
Deputy Attorney-General and Deputy Minister of Justice; Attorney-General and Minister for
Justice; and Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament.

Joe Ghartey who was born 58 years ago and Efua Ghartey are blessed with five children.

John Peter Amewu, Minister of Energy, is 50 years old. He is an engineer by training but a
politician by vocation. His alma mater's are the University of Ghana where he graduated with
an MBA in Finance, the University of Dundee, UK, where he acquired an Executive MBA in
International Energy Industry Management and a Masters in Petroleum Law and Policy. He

JOHNSON Johnson Kwadwo Asiedu Nketia aka General Mosquito, General Secretary of the National
ASIEDU Democratic Congress (NDC) was born on December 24, 1954 at Seikwa in the Brong Ahafo
NKETIA Region.

he served on several committees of Parliament including the Appointments Committee,
Finance Committee and Public Accounts Committee. He was also Chairman of the Mines
and Energy Committee and Minority spokesperson on Food, Agriculture and Cocoa Affairs.

He attended St. Joseph’s Teacher Training College, Bechem and trained as a teacher. He
wrote his GCE ‘O’ and ‘A’ levels at home, passed with distinction and entered the University of
Ghana Business School. He left a record score at a stock exchange exam.

He was elected to the Consultative Assembly which drafted the 1992 constitution. And his
sterling performance at the assembly earned him the accolade “Heavy Weight.”

Joseph Yieleh Chireh, a lawyer and the first Upper West Regional Minister is also JOSEPH
acknowledged as playing a very important role in the Consultative Assembly that YIELEH
drafted the 1992 Fourth Republican Constitution. CHIREH

Young Chireh trained as a pharmacist by obtaining a Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree at
the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. In 2006, he attended the
Ghana Law School and qualified as a lawyer. He has held several high profile positions
in the country including: Member of Parliament for Wa West; Former Minister of Local
Government and Rural Development and Health Minister.

He has also served as Ghana’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to
Algeria with concurrent accreditation to Tunisia, the Sahrawi Arab Democratic
Republic and Mauritania. The 65-year old pharmacist-cum-lawyer-cum-politician is
a Christian by faith and is married with four children.

Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie known everywhere as Sir John, hails from Wonoo in the Kwabre KWADWO
East Municipal Assembly. He leads efforts to preserve the country’s depleting forests as OWUSU
the Forestry Commission of Ghana’s Chief Executive Officer. He had his GCE Ordinary Level AFRIYIE
education at Seventh Day Adventist Senior High School, Bekwai and moved to Konongo
Odumasi Senior High School, Konongo, for his GCE Advanced Level training.

He is a past student of the University of Ghana and the Ghana Law School. Though Sir John
was in private practice as a legal practitioner, he was actively engaged in politics. He has
served in various positions in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) including the General Secretary
for four years. Public offices held by Sir John include: Head of Legal Services at the Ghana
National Petroleum Corporation and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana National
Petroleum Corporation.

Sir John was recently honoured for his exemplary leadership and innovative ideas to
help reverse climate change and the creation of jobs for young Ghanaians by the African
leadership Magazine.

Peter Mac Manu is a politician and an entrepreneur. The former National Chairman of the New PETER
Patriotic Party (NPP) and the Party’s Campaign Manager for Presidential and Parliamentary MAC MANU
Elections since 2016 is 66 years old. He served as Chairman of the NPP in the Western Region
before he was elected National Chairman of the party. His alma mater is the University of
Ghana where he came out with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.

After his university education he worked as a businessman and entrepreneur setting up
several businesses including: Macal Tyre, Janus Macal Rubber Company and a travel agency
in Accra.

Married with children, Mac Manu is the Honorary Chairman of the Democrat Union of Africa.

Frederick Worsemao Armah Blay, the National Chair of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is a
lawyer and politician born in 1942. He was educated at Adisadel College, University of Ghana,
(Bachelor of Law (LLB), and the Ghana School of Law to qualify as a Barrister at Law; and is a
Member of the Ghana Bar Association.

Armah Blay fondly called Freddie Blay by his admirers formerly represented the Ellembele
Constituency in parliament.

The NPP Chair together with his spouse Gina Blay and son Kwame Blay, own the famous and
widely known Media Group, the Western Publications. They have two other adult children.

SAMUEL Samuel Awuku was born on April 10, 1984 and raised in Koforidua in the Eastern Region in a

Boateng Experimental School in Koforidua. He attended St Augustine’s College, Cape Coast
and later got admission at the University of Ghana, as a member of the Commonwealth Hall
and an Agriculture Science student.

As a politician he has achieved a lot at his young age. A committed party loyalist and a man
of the people, Sammy politely refused to be a minister in order to be able to continue work
at the NPP’s headquarters to assist other officers in addressing the concerns of the people.

Besides his job as a politician he is also a businessman, being a board member of a cleaning
company which is doing quite well and a supplier of general goods.

JOHN BOADU John Boadu, General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) was born on born September
4, 1971. He has held several high profile positions in the NPP that include: Director of
Information and Research, Greater Accra Region; Secretary General, Organizations of
African Liberal Youth (OALY); Finance Officer/Accountant, NPP National Headquarters,
National Youth Treasurer and the Deputy Director of Communications.

He is widely acknowledged in the party for skillfully lobbying the National Conference to allow
the youth to have separate annual conferences to among other things, elect their leaders;
supporting and advocating for the recognition and voting rights of TESCON at both regional
and national elections; and motivating youth members of the NPP to contest various
positions within the party.

He holds a BSc Administration (Accounting option – University of Ghana) and a Certificate in
Strategic Planning from Lesson Villa Saarbrucken, Germany.

Kennedy Agyapong, the Member of Parliament for Assin Central is one of the most prominent KENNEDY
politicians in the Ghanaian nation. He has been in Parliament since 2000 on the ticket of the AGYAPONG
New Patriotic Party (NPP). Undoubtedly, the most famous politician in the country because
of his anti-corruption crusade, he entered Parliament in 2000 and was re-elected in 2004,
2008, 2012, and again in 2016.

He was born on June 16, 1960, at Assin Dompim in the Central Region to Francis Ohene Kofi
Agyapong and Mrs. Mary Nsiah.

He studied at Adisadel College and Fordham University, New York. Apart from being a
politician, he is a farmer and businessman – Director of Assin Farms, Supercare Group of
Companies and the Hollywood Shopping Centre.

Hon. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh is a medical doctor by profession and a politician by trade. DR.
The Manhyia South Member of Parliament was born on May 23, 1968. MATTHEW

Dr. Opoku Prempeh attended the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology PREMPEH
(KNUST) Primary School and continued at Prempeh College from 1980 to 1987. He had his DANIEL
tertiary and professional education at the KNUST where he graduated with a Bachelor of BOTWE
Science Degree in Human Biology and Medicine.

He is also a product of the Netherlands Institute of Health Sciences. He obtained a Master’s
Degree in Clinical Epidemiology from that institute.

Not only is he the Minister of Education, he is also a Cabinet member.

Daniel Botwe is a Politician and a Computer Analyst. He was born in the Eastern Region
of Ghana on February 26, 1958. Dan Botwe as called by many had his GCE Ordinary level
Certificate at the Kumasi Academy and a GEC Advanced level Certificate also at Achimota
School in 1977. He later went to Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and
graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.

He was elected as the National Secretary of the National Union of Ghana students during his
time at the university. In 1998, Dan Botwe contested as New Patriotic Party’s (NPP’s) General
Secretary and was victorious.

He played a tremendous role supporting Former President Kufuor during the 2000 general
election. President Akufo-Addo in 2017 named him as Minister for Regional Reorganization
and Development. Daniel Botwe married with three lovely children.

name among the party’s faithful for his charismatic leadership and absolute loyalty to the
SAMUEL party.

AMPOFO Ofosu-Ampofo has held several positions in both government and the party. He was a former
District Chief Executive, Member of Parliament, NDC National Organizer, Minister of Local
Government and Rural Development, Eastern Regional Minister and National NDC First Vice
Chairman.

He was appointed Chairman of Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority under the John Mahama
administration. The NDC National Chairman is married with children.

SAMUEL Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa is the Member of Parliament for North Tongu in the Volta Region
OKUDZETO and Ranking Member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs in Parliament. He also serves on
ABLAKWA the Appointments and the Roads and Transport Committees of Parliament.

He attended the Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (PRESEC) and read Political Science
and Philosophy at the University of Ghana for his first degree. He has an MA in Communications,
Media & Public Relations from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom and also holds a
Certificate in Leadership from the Harvard Kennedy School of Governance, USA.

Okudzeto Ablakwa whose hometown is Aveyime in the Volta Region was born on August 11,
1980. He has been honoured by the Mepe Traditional Council and the Tepa Traditional Council
where he is known as the “Mmrantiehene.”

He is married to Nuhela Seidu, a legal practitioner and they are blessed with a daughter and
a son.

FELIX Felix Ofosu is a renowned Ghanaian Politician of the National Democratic Congress (NDC),
OFOSU who became the former Deputy Minister of Communication during President Mahama's
KWAKYE administration.

WHO'S WHO 2019 A native of Abakrampa in the Central Region, he had his secondary education at the Wesley
Grammar senior high school in Accra, proceeded to the Kwame Nkrumah University of
Science and Technology (KNUST) and later to CEPMLP, University of Dundee, UK. Felix's
political journey took off during his days at the KNUST where he joined the Tertiary Institution
Education Network (TIEN), an arm of the youth wing of the National Democratic Congress
(NDC) upon an invitation by his friend who was the president.

His work with the executive team navigated him through the different hierarchies to fully
become a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Felix is well noted in Ghanaian
politics as a very young man who has massive exposure and a high level of appreciation of
governance and State affairs. Felix Kwakye Ofosu is currently the Parliamentary candidate of
the NDC for Abura Asebu Kwamankese Constituency.

Anthony Abayifaa Karbo is the Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways and Member of ANTHONY
Parliament for Lawra constituency. He was born on August 12, 1979 at Jekarsyili in Tamale, ABAYIFAA
capital of the Northern Region and had his education at the University of Development KARBO
Studies where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Development Studies and
graduated with a Master’s in Economic Policy and International Business from the University
of Birmingham. Karbo took an active interest in student politics and was a student leader
during his days at the University of Development Studies.

In Parliament he serves on the Appointments Committee and the Communications
Committee. He comes from a family of politically active members – his father Abeifaa Karbo
was a member of parliament.

He is married to Awenlue Kante Karbo and they have three children.

Betty Mould-Iddrisu is a lawyer and politician born on March 22, 1953 in Accra. Mould-Iddrisu BETTY
is an accomplished lawyer and versatile scholar with a graduate degree in law, LLM from the MOULD
London School of Economics and Political Science, University of London and BL from Ghana -IDDRISU
Law School. She has served as Minister of Education in Ghana and as the Attorney General
and Minister of Justice, the first woman to serve in this capacity in Ghana.

On the international scene, Betty Mould-Iddrisu has worked at the London office of the
Commonwealth Secretariat as the Head of Legal and Constitutional Affairs.

The former Attorney General who is married with three children has as her hobbies; traveling,
reading and entertaining people.

Cecilia Abenaa Dapaah was born at Mpasatia in the Ashanti Region on November 27, 1954. CECILIA
She is a product of the University of Ghana’s School of Languages – the Department of ABENAA
French and the Department of Linguistics to be precise. She is also an alumna of Harvard DAPAAH
Kennedy School, and the University of Oslo.

Abenaa Dapaah is a seasoned politician who has served in many positions: former Member
of Parliament for Bantama; Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Works and Housing and
Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources. She has served with distinction on many
committees in parliament.

A Christian of the Methodist tradition, Abenaa Dapaah is married with one child.

for her professional education.

Peacekeeping Training Centre, International Law Institute and the Ghana Institute of
Management and Public Administration.

As a legal practitioner she has been active at the well-known Akufo-Addo, Prempeh & Co as
an associate partner. The down to earth parliamentarian doubles as a Cabinet Minister and
Communications Minister. The Ablekuma West Member of Parliament is married with one
child.

KOJO Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the soft-spoken Minister of Information was born in Koforidua on
OPPONG April 5, 1982, to Kwame Oppong Nkrumah, a teacher turned banker and Felicia Oppong
NKRUMAH Nkrumah, a teacher.

He attended St. Bernadette Soubirous School at Dansoman and proceeded to the Pope John
Senior High School and Minor Seminary in Koforidua. He pursued his tertiary education at
the University of Cape Coast where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce.

Oppong Nkrumah also holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Ghana; a bachelor’s
degree in law (LLB) from GIMPA Faculty of Law; and was called to the Bar as a Barrister and
Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana in 2016.

He won the Ofoase-Ayirebi Constituency parliamentary seat in the 2016 general elections
on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). In government he is Cabinet Spokesperson
on the Economy while in Parliament he additionally serves as a member of the Finance and
Constitutional committees.

a prominent record producer making great strides in Ghana’s showbiz. Paedae of
JOSEPH R2Bees fame named him Killbeatz due to his flair for producing “Killer” beats. He
ADDISON got his big breakthrough Kaywa, another beats master.

He has worked with popular artistes such as Ed Sheeran, Sarkodie, Efya, R2bees,
Wizkid, among others. Killbeatz manages the Legacy Life Entertainment Records.

He is known to have contributed to the widespread of the Azonto music genre. He
has produced a studio album for English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran featuring
Fuse ODG, which was released in 2017 titled “BibiaBeyeYie” which eventually won
a Grammy award at the 60th Grammy Awards.

EUGENE Eugene Marfo, affectionately called Kuami Eugene, is a Ghanaian afrobeat
MARFO musician who was born on the 1st of February 1997. He got signed on by ‘Lynx
Entertainment’ with his first appearance being on the MTN Hitmaker Season 5, a
reality TV show.

His first hit song was titled ‘Angela’, which was followed by ‘Confusion’, another
hit song. He subsequently released ‘Wish Me Well’, making him indeed the hit
maker that he was. He has had much collaboration with top Ghanaian musicians,
performing on most of the recent major concerts in Ghana.

Among several honors, he is the AFRIMA Most Promising Artiste in Africa and
winner of Vodafone Ghana Music Award’s Best New Artiste.

EMMANUEL The Ghanaian rapper and musician, Emmanuel Kwesi Danso Arthur Junior known
KWESI in showbiz as Kwesi Arthur is one of Ghana’s youngest successful artistes. Kwesi
ARTHUR Arthur was born on 18 December, 1994. He grew up in Tema where he had most
of his childhood memories, including his passion for music. Drake’s debut album,
WHO'S WHO 2019 ‘Thank Me Later’, is said to have influenced Kwesi Arthur to begin to pursue a
career in music.

In 2015, “Grind Day”, his lead single from the album Nkrumah Krom which followed
up in 2017, was released. His Ground Up Chale movement has reached a massive
selection of the Ghanaian youth earning him a huge following and fan base. He
was nominated as Best International Act for the 2018 BET Awards. He had his
recent interview and freestyle session on the BBC.

Kwame Ametepe Tsikata, mostly known as M.anifest, is a Ghanaian rapper and 163
musician. Manifest is an alumnus of the SOS-Hermann Gmeiner International
College and later attended Macalester College. M.anifest went on to collaborate KWAME
with Africa Express the co-founder, Damon Albarn to be on Rocket Juice & the AMETEPE
Moon in touring the United Kingdom. TSIKATA

Africa stage as well at the Channel O Music Video Awards in South Africa in 2012.

The smooth singing musician’s passion for showbiz started while in high RASHID
school, participating in rap competitions. Rashid Mugeez alongside his partner MUGEEZ
and cousin; Hakeem Faisal also known as Paedae have been a duo for over a
decade. Their first single, which was a hit song was titled, “Yawa Girl”. He is the
lead singer for the brand name R2Bees which deals in the hiplife music genre.
Mugeez alongside Paedae have made historical landscapes in their music career,

Kafui Dey was born on August 6, 1971 in Burkina Faso to his Ghanaian parents. He grew up KAFUI
in Cote d’Ivoire, China and England and returned to Ghana in the year 1987. He worked as a DEY
translator, pianist, radio presenter, salesman and game show host before deciding in 2012 to
go back into the media space and work towards becoming Ghana’s first corporate master of
ceremonies. His first book “How to MC Any Event” was published in December 2013.

He has over 20 years’ experience in media, sales and marketing and was the host of Ghanaian
version of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” which was dubbed “Who Wants to Be Rich?” and
aired on television from the year 2009 to 2012. He was a co-host of GH One’s morning show,
“GH Today” alongside Baisiwa Dowuona-Hammond.

He has been Master of Ceremonies in over 250 events; ranging from award ceremonies,
conferences, launches, graduations, parties, and wedding receptions. The broadcaster is
married to Dzifa Dey and the couple has three sons.

Seasoned broadcast journalist, Paul Adom Otchere has over two decades experience with PAUL

Bernard Koku Avle is an award winning broadcast journalist and Director of News
Programming at Citi FM. He was born on the 20th of May 1981. He attended the University
of Ghana Primary School, Presbyterian Boy’s Senior High School, and later the University of
Ghana for his tertiary education, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He is also
an alumnus of the Warwick Business School, obtaining his Master of Business Administration
as a Chevening Scholar.

Currently, he is the host of Citi Breakfast Show and Point of View Show on Citi FM and Citi
TV respectively. He occasionally serves as a moderator at various local and international
conferences. As member of the governing council of Global Marketing Network, Bernard Avle

Bright Nana-Amfoh is a Broadcast Journalist who hails from Breman Kuntanse in the Central
Region. Bright attended the Breman Asikuma Secondary School (BASS), and later went to
Accra Academy. He holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Ghana, and a
Master’s Degree in Mass Communication from the same institution.

Bright was a footballer during his school days who played as a defender to the point where he
got a selection in the regional team. As a member of a royal family, his uncle is a traditional
king which makes him the next in line for the royal stool.

Juliet has chalked some successes for herself including interviewing some of the big names
in sports including Gianni Infatanio and current Liberian President, George Weah. She has
consequently worked with media establishments such as Metro TV, TV3, Etv, Citi FM, as
well as some sports websites such as Goal and Caf Online. She has also serving on voting
panels of Africa Football Shop Player of the Year Award, the BBC African Footballer of the
Year Awards, and the African Football of the Year Awards to help select winners for award
schemes.

Juliet Bawuah also loves to do philanthropic work. She served as an ambassador for UNAIDS
in their Protect the Goal Campaign to help reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS for a society free
of the deadly disease.

Sensational television presenter Jay Foley is renowned for his appearance on the 4syte JAY
entertainment television channel. He attended Bishop Bowers Junior Secondary School, FOLEY
and then Achimota School, before going on to Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and
Technology to study sound engineering. He started a network for young people called 2131,
with the tag line, "Lead, Challenge or Just Forget It", which targeted young people with a

sports industry and is notable for exposing corruption within the Ghana Football Association

He is known to have given Asamoah Gyan the nickname ‘Baby Jet’ after closely watching and
monitoring the footballer’s skills. He is married with children.

AKWASI Akwasi Dayo Sarpong is an ace journalist working for the BBC World Service where produces

for Ghana’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2006 to 2007; later anchoring the Midday News
and serving as the Assistant news editor at the Multimedia Group in 2010. He keeps making

Jeremie Van-Garshong is a broadcast journalist who was born on 21st June 1984. She JEREMIE
attended the African University College where she had her Diploma in Communication VAN-
Studies. She later enrolled with the Ghana Institute of Languages to study French and GARSHONG
Spanish. She later went on to attend Lycee George Clemenceau, a public secondary school
in France.

She co-founded 2131 in 2004 with Jay Foley and the duo maintained their bond since then.
Before her media career, she was a receptionist, picking phone calls and being sent on
errands.

After 5 years on Y FM, she joined Live FM as the host of ‘Touchdown’ and ‘Soulfood’. She is
also the 4syte TV’s celebrated hostess alongside her co-host Jay Foley. She won the Female
Presenter at the Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Awards IN 2012.She is the founder
of ‘Unashamed’, a Christian initiative, with the aim of sharing her deepest testimonies with
the world.

Gary Al-Smith is a broadcast journalist with specialization in sports journalism. Gary is an
old boy of the Presbyterian Boy’s Senior High School in Accra. His global experience allows
him to report for both local and international media in the area of soccer. He has served as
a UNICEF ambassador as well as a global shaper, working concurrently with Joy FM, Citi FM,
BBC, CNN, New York Times, as well as SuperSport.

He is the ‘Sports Track’ show host on which he champions the Sustainable Development
Goals. He also produces the FC Africa show which brings to bear an African perspective on
sports by bringing on board some of the most talented soccer journalists to share their ideas
on global sports news.

Kwesi Pratt Jnr., born 7 September 1953, is a Ghanaian journalist and the managing editor KWESI
at the Insight newspaper. Kwesi was a member of Alliance for Change, the organisers of PRATT JNR.
KumePreko. Every government since Ghana’s 1992 Republic, has come under the scrutiny
of Mr. Pratt. He has never wavered in his principles as a journalist. He is described as one of
the personalities who pioneered the fight for the restoration of free press in the Ghanaian
media landscape.

In 2015, he was enskinned by the Gulkpegu Naa, Alhaji Alhassan Abdulai, as the Yelvuhi Naa
(to wit: a chief who can speak his mind without fear or favor) in Tamale.

He was awarded the Pan-African Distinguished Achievers Award in 2014 for his efforts towards
the promotion of Pan-Africanism, good governance and leadership, unity, patriotism and
nationalism in making the African continent a better place. He is married and has a daughter.

Kwabena Yeboah is the media personnel who is known for his exciting style of soccer KWABENA

a goal is scored. He had his early education at Apam Methodist Primary, Akosombo
Experimental School, Nkawkaw Presbyterian School, before proceeding for secondary

He has served as host of GBC TV’s prime ‘Sports Highlights’ since 1996. His prolific writing
in his bi-weekly sports paper ‘African Sports’ have combined to make him the most popular

president of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG).

He has to his credit seven national awards – TV Presenter of the Year on two occasions,
Commentator of the Year on five occasions, including and a SuperSports Award. He was
one of the few sports commentators from Africa to be invited by the African Union of
Broadcasters and Canal France to run commentary worldwide during the 2010 FIFA world

Yaw Ampofo Ankrah is a sports journalist who is widely regarded as the man who brought YAW
organized beach soccer to Ghana. He proceeded to Birkbeck University of London reading AMPOFO

As a newscaster on Okay FM and Peace FM, and the host of ‘Heritage Ghana’ on UTV, she is

Maame Yaa Konamah Antwi, also known as Osofo Maame, is a broadcast journalist who works
at Despite Group of Companies; UTV, Okay FM, Peace FM in the capital city, Accra. She had
her tertiary education at the University of Cape Coast in 2008. She was the former General
Manager at Aspet Building Services before later moving to join the media.

Yaa Konamah started out as a newscaster and a presenter of UTV’s popular telenovela

for the early morning news on UTV’s Morning show, ‘Adekye Nsroma’. She is known for her
exceptional delivery in the local Twi dialect which has won her the admiration of many. She is
