FRIENDSHIP WITHOUT DISCRIMINATION

Once in a city school, there were few children who were good friends. All the
children are friendly except one girl named Neena. She didn’t like to play with any of
the school friends and she started searching for a new friend in playground, park and
nearby her home.

One day while searching, Neena saw a building which is an Ashram hanged with
notice board stating with words “There are poor children looking for good friends”. She
read those words and thought ‘why should I play with poor friends? I need only kids
from Rich family.’

While she was thinking about that, there came a small girl named Rita from the
Ashram and started talking to Neena.

Rita asked Neena, Shall we be friends? Neena said No, I don’t want any poor or orphan
friends; I’m looking for Rich friends. Rita got upset and she started telling about her
own story. Rita was very rich when she was a baby and she lost her parents in an accident,
and that made her stay in Ashram and accept all little kids as friends.

After hearing all these, Neena realised her mistake and changed her mind to be a good
friend with any type of children, either poor or rich. She understood we should not
discriminate in school or anywhere. Neena went back to school next day and said Sorry
to all her friends and happily lived ever after.

Moral : Friendship should be with good understanding and without any discrimination.

DREAM BIG

Far across the noisy and disturbed city, there was a small village, just in between the
valley of mountains, stood tall trees, which was home for many animals. The beauty of
nature here just mesmerizes everyone. There were around 7-9 families in this village.
Though they were all from different families yet they all lived like one whole family. In
this family there was a boy, Vijay, who grew up learning about the facilities enjoyed by
the urban people and their lifestyle. Dreamt of living that life and he really worked hard
to visit one of the cities.

Later on, he joined a school in the city and lived in hostel. He didn’t know much about
cooking so he made the habit of eating outside food and after on he started liking the
taste of these junk foods like burger, pizza and all the other types of unhealthy food
from which he started gaining too much of weight. He reached to a point where he
changed physically. He looked too big. He started having health issues, where he couldn’t
even walk properly. He became so lazy and weak. Whenever he visited his schools, he
was teased by his friends for his overweight. He couldn’t bare his friends making fun of
him and getting teased all the time. He did not go out of his place. He sat alone all the
time thinking about his weight. He tried all the ways to stop himself from gaining more
weight but it didn’t work.

On one day he visited a trainer. He completely understood what Vijay was going through
and he helped him to lose weight. Every early morning Vijay started to exercise,
following proper diet and followed all the instructions given by his trainer. And after 6
months he lost around 33kgs and he got back in good shape and became fit. His friends
who teased him came back to him and apologized for teasing him and now they wanted
to be friends back again. Vijay, who had nothing, now had earned everything back only
through his own efforts and dedication.

palace, while the poor people who built it for him still lived in huts. The king's table will
always be heaped with delicious foods, while most of his people had only one plain meal
a day, and sometimes not even that. But the heartless king did not care. If he had
what he wanted, that was enough for him.

grabbed his magic hammer which God gave him and left. He went in front of the mouse
and threw the magic hammer he had on the mouse. Giant mouse got hurt badly, and it
ran away. Vrinda was so angry on Rohan, as he hurt his Mouse. He healed the mouse
and gave a hammer that creates lightning and sent back to city to kill Rohan.

Mouse came into the city again, and started chasing Rohan. He ran so fast and lay into
the giant magical shell. Mouse created lightning towards Rohan. Rohan closed the shell
in a flash, lightning hit the shell and reflected back and killed the mouse. Then Rohan
with the help of people and his power dethrowned and arrested the King. From then
people lived happily in Mega city and called Rohan as “Rohan, the Super Hero”.

Come out children, enjoy the tour called our Mam as we the children of SJPS II

We had travelled to the hills singing, chatting and enjoying the beautiful

road. Wow! What a site it was!

Come on Isaac, Joe , let us play on the slide, I called. Other friends also joined
and we had a happy time.

It’s snacks time– told our Mam.

As I opened my snacks box, I saw four hungry children outside the Park, in dirty
clothes. We friends closed our boxes and offered our snacks to them.

On seeing this our Mam came to us. I told, Mam these children are poor
and not going to school. We all children shared our pocket money and bought new dresses
for them. Mam took them to a nearby school and asked the Headmistress to admit them
in school. She admitted them. The children were happy. Our Mam appreciated me and
taught “sharing is caring.”

Ok kids it’s time to return, our Mam called.

As we climbed down the hills, I was very happy as I remembered their thankful
look.

LET’S BE A WATER SAVER

Once upon a time there lived a boy called Ryan. He lived in a small village.
He saw the villagers wasting water. The boy insisted the Villagers to save water, but
no one seems to listen to him.

Up in the sky lived a fairy called Lavendar. She was silently watching the happenings in
the village. She wanted to teach people a good lesson.
She ordered the rain not to show until she commands. The village became very dry and
the people started to go in search of water. They had to walk miles to fulfil even their
basic needs. They started to repent for the mistake and even started to construct
rainwater harvesting system in the houses. Seeing all this Lavendar, the fairy became
so happy and as a result it started raining heavily.

THE CHILDREN, THE DRAGON AND THE UNICORN.

Once upon a time, there was a small town and it was surrounded by mountains and
jungles. In that town there lived ten little children. One day, they made two teams,
five children in each team. Lily, Rose, Love, Rain and Dream in one team and in the
other team there were Spice, Tina, Jojo, Bowa and Chloé. The reason behind making
two teams was, they couldn't decide whether Unicorns or Dragons were better and
the children also wanted to know if they were existing or not. So, the next day they
went to the mythical forest to have a look.
The two teams split up. Number one team, the Unicorn team, went to the right and the
other team, the dragon team, went to the left. After a few hours they thought not to
split up and go together. “Guess What?” They all found a dragon and even a unicorn and
they became friends with the dragon and unicorn. Then the children went back to town
and made the mythical creatures as their own pets. They arranged a dance party and
they had lots of fun. A little later, Lily said- “We should invite our parents too!”. Her
friends said - “Ok! We will invite them now itself.” So, the parents came and said -
“Oh! What a fun party! I bet we will have lots of fun here!”. So, the parents joined the
party. When the parents were going to have some of the drinks, they surprisingly saw
that there was a dragon and a unicorn in the party. They asked the children -”Kids,
where did you get the mythical creatures from?”. The children said - “Sorry, mom and
dad we only wanted to know if they existed or not.” The parents got very happy that
their kids made a new discovery and they said - “Okay ! But keep them in your club
house. They will be very happy together.” “Okay!” - said the children as they ate the
delicious food. They enjoyed the party and lived happily ever after.

DREAM WORLD

It was a fine morning and I, Arjun woke up and washed my face. I went
outside and found myself in a Dream World! There were many imaginary things like
flying fishes and underwater lions. I started to explore the Dream World.

I came to a jungle. There, I saw a boy behind a bush. “Hello, I am
Arjun”, I said.” Hello, I am Jack”, he replied. “Are you lost?” I asked. “No, I came here
to explore”, he replied. And he led me to his house. His house was very different. It
consisted of a curved television, cylindrical table and etc. Then we got out exploring
the world.

We began chatting together; suddenly a big shark flew swiftly towards
us. We ran and jumped into a pond. The shark flew away. We were safe. When we
climbed the bank, an underwater lion came to pounce on us! We ran and it slammed on
the ground. We continued to explore the world.

It was very imaginary and amazing. “Why the world is so different?” I
asked. He replied, “The world was not like this before. It was very peaceful and
beautiful because of the secret gem. One day, a witch stole it and she hid it in her
cave. To go there, we have to cross a forest, lake and a waterfall”. We both agreed to
save the world.

First, we came to the forest. There a group of elephants raced towards
us! We both ran and came out of the forest. Then, we came to the lake. He said, there
is a secret tunnel that could take us across the lake. We jumped into lake and crossed
the tunnel. We were in the other side of the lake. Then, we came to the waterfall. We
slid down the waterfall. It was fun! Finally, we came to the cave. We went in it and got
the secret gem.

Just then, we heard some strange laughing sound. The witch had seen
us! It put electric shocks but we escaped and raced out of the tunnel. WE WERE
SAFE! Then we placed the secret gem in the Green Lake. At that moment the world
changed! It was very peaceful and beautiful.

sleeping under a tree for a long time. The noise made by the kids disturbed that man’s

took a paint bucket and painted a scary monster on the wall.

On the next Sunday, the same friends along with Beethu’s mom went to the park

mom heard the kids screaming. She asked them “Why are you crying and What’s
Wrong?”, Kids pointed their fingers towards the painting. She saw the Monster’s
painting and held the kids. She distracted them by giving some toys and candy. Beethu’s
mom said “Play safe and yell out If you get scared” and asked them to play at a distance
from where she can see them. The kids agreed and as they were playing, they saw the

magic was in her and he lied that it was a magical plectrum to bring her the
confidence. Jacintha was very happy at the teacher’s words and approached judges to

One day RICHARD and ROSY were walking through the small garden path. Suddenly they

creature moving inside the POND. He went near the POND to take a clear look and shouted;
“ROSY, it’s a BABY ANGEL FISH”. ROSY came near her brother and saw the little FISH coming
towards them. ROSY asked RICHARD, “Do you remember that we bought the ANGEL FISH
while it was a baby?” RICHARD said; “Yes, it means the ANGEL FISH laid a baby”. “Superb!”
shouted ROSY. “Really?” asked RICHARD. “Yes”, said ROSY. “Now let’s go and tell the news to
our PARENTS”, said ROSY as she jumped all the way home happily. “Ok” ,said RICHARD as he
followed his sister.

When they opened the door their FATHER said, “welcome back”. They went inside and
ROSY told what happened outside and their parents also told that they had a news to tell.
“What is it?” asked RICHARD and ROSY. Their MOTHER told that they were going on a ride
