Maryland and part of the Maryland Historical Trust,
Aix La Chapelle is a 200+ year old estate on 160 acres
surrounded by natural beauty, tranquil background,
bountiful fields, flowering orchards and vintage gems.

The private residence is a working

farm where throughout the year
the crops are abundant and fruitful.

The orchards produce a variety
of apples, peaches and plums.

as it is encircled by rural fields, rolling hills,

The Dairy Barn

With the hay loft soaring to 30 feet,
the Dairy Barn intimately
accommodates guests for dinner and
entertainment. The interior, over
3,000 square feet, features an
architectural bar, built-in bookcases,
Bluetooth audio system, and
decorative chandeliers with ambient
lighting.. The elements are classical
with eclectic and modern touches.

The Bakery
The Bakery is a unique
setting where guests can add
a personalized touch by
supplying candies
and sweet treats.
Allow the caterer to outfit
with baked goods or have
relatives supply their favorites
and longtime classics.

The Lawn

The Lawn is a scenic site
offering simplicity within
its landscape for both
a ceremony and/or
reception. The location
has been groomed to
accommodate a tented
structure for an evening
under the stars or
an afternoon of sunshine.

How can a tour of Aix La Chapelle be scheduled ?

All tours are by appointment only.

Does Aix La Chapelle

require an event planner ?
An event planner is required and
must be approved by Aix La Chapelle.
Recommendations are available.

Can a ceremony be held

at Aix La Chapelle ?
Outdoor and indoor ceremonies
can be held at the venue.
Should an outdoor ceremony be planned
and there are weather conditions the
day of the event, changes can be made up
to three hours prior to the contracted time.

Does Aix La Chapelle require clients to

obtain event insurance ?
All events must have event insurance when hosting
at the venue. One million policy is required along
with naming Aix La Chapelle Farm as additional insured.

Who is responsible for the cleanup

after the event at Aix La Chapelle ?
The contracted client is required to leave
the property (Grounds and Spaces) neat
and orderly with all trashed removed.
This would include breaking down tables and
chairs along with contracted rental equipment
stacked. All floors must be swept and
free of debris and spills.
A penalty fee of 350.00 will be applied
should he venue policy not be followed.

Does Aix La Chapelle have a list of preferred vendors ?

We do have a list of approved caterers.
If the list does not meet your needs, we are happy to discuss.
All vendors must be approved in writing by Aix La Chapelle at least six months
prior to the event.. All vendors must adhere to the terms of our policies.
It is the client’s responsibility to share the contracts policies and procedures
with their vendors. Clients can provide their own alcohol, however,
all alcohol must be served by the contracted licensed caterer.
