Welcome to TJ–SSF 2020
Welcome to TJ-SSF2020, following the successful organizing of Thailand-Japan
Student Science Fair held in 2015 and 2018, this is our third time hosting the event. The goal
of Thailand-Japan Student Science Fair 2020 is to bring together groups of talented students
in Science, Mathematics, Computer and Technology from Thailand and Japan to share their
experiences and research findings as well as to build closer and stronger collaboration between
the two countries.
Despite the unprecedented difficulties, with spread of the Coronavirus Disease 2019
(COVID-19). We have shifted Thailand-Japan Student Science fair 2020, a challenging year
to the online platform and reschedule to take place on 24-25 February, 2021. However,
we strongly believe that this crisis has giving us practical lesson on how to deal with the
unknown.
We are very happy to welcome Japanese students, teachers and principals from Super
Science High Schools and National Institute of Technology, KOSEN of Japan and also
welcome Thai Students, teachers and principals from the twelve Princess Chulabhorn Science
High Schools. / Partner school and Science High School in Thailand.
TJ-SSF2020 is an enormous step forwards the future of Science and Technology,
presenting important advances in Science, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics
Computer and Technology. Thank you for being part of this fulfilled missions, a great
challenge for students and the harmonious friendship between our countries. We are delighted
to welcome all of you to Thailand-Japan Student Science Fair 2020(TJ-SSF2020)

1. Young Detective.
Use knowledge of chemistry and related fields to
solve real life problems. Encourage students to
apply their knowledge and plan the process for the
solutions with teamwork skills.
2. Forensic Science.
To solve the forensic problem at the crime scene,
the students should define the problem, collect
potential evidence, perform necessary
experiments, analyze the results and determine the
identity of the possible suspect.
3. Who is the Robber?
The participants will investigate from scenarios
and clues to find out who the robber is. In order to
complete the investigation, they need to practice
notation, memory, and verification techniques.
4. Tower of Hanoi.
One way to calculate the smallest number of
moves possible is to use the concept of recurrence
relations. In order to interpret the game into a
recurrence relation, a good understanding in the
game itself and basic knowledge in recurrence
relations with initial conditions are required.
