Battery Overview
Batteries can come individually (battery cell) or in packs (battery packs). A
battery cell, is typically a single cell most often used in small consumer
electronics like mobile phones

A battery pack consists of several single cells. Everything from just a few in
small laptops and screwdrivers, to 20-30 used in outdoor power tools and
several thousands in electric vehicles.

So how does a battery work?

 Electricity by definition is a flow of electrons

 All batteries have three parts:

- Anode (-)
- Cathode (+)
- Electrolyte which separates the two
