The kidney is involves in osmoregulation and formation of urine. Osmoregulation is the regulation
of blood osmotic pressure in maintaining the water content in an organism. It keeps the organism’s
body fluid from becoming too diluted or too concentrated. It involves the coordination between
the endocrine glands X and the kidney. The blood is filtered in the kidney to produce glomerular
filtrate.
