OPT Lighting Systems

3.9 Examination - Minor Surgical - OPT Lights

The quality of artificial illumination in Operating Theatres plays a crucial role during surgeries due to the need of perceiving reliable
visual information. Our compact OPT lighting systems are made by aluminum and use the latest and most innovative LED technology.
G.SAMARAS S.A. provides lighting systems with superior color yield index which is equal or higher than 85 following the requirements
of IEC 60601-2-41. In addition, the color temperature, which is also a very important factor, has been set according to the international
regulation for surgery lamps. The innovative LED technology reduces the emission of infrared rays making the surgery process more
comfortable. Furthermore, the absence of ultraviolet rays ensures high degree of protection to medical personnel and patients.
Our OPT lighting systems, except the ultimate reliability and the long service life enhance the light distribution, provide multiple abil-
ities for mechanical positioning adjustment of focus and beam.

3.13 PNEUMATIC TUBE SYSTEMS

Pneumatic tube systems that move cylindrical containers through
tube networks using compressed air or vacuum applications. Their
purpose is to transport a variety of payloads quickly and safely pro-
viding numerous important advantages, as for instance cost sav-
ings through time saving. They provide also high safety, trans-
porting everything, be it money, documents or hazardous
materials. Using a pneumatic tube system, laboratory samples,
units of stored blood or patients’ files reach their destination more
quickly. This enables the medical staff to spend more time on the
patients’ care.

3.14 EMERGENCY LIGHTING & DETECTION SYSTEMS

EMERGENCY LIGHTING
Their aim is to show escape routing or to provide standby illumination. In case of escape routing we
can simply follow the regulation rules, whereas in case of emergency lighting we must take into account
the real illumination requirement needed by a specific area (i.e. the security office of a building).

3.14 OPT Tables

Technology, functionality, precision, stability and economy are the main characteristics of the GSNUEM2010 series. Thanks to the vast
portfolio of accessories they provide a great choice of operating tables that can be used in traditional and specific surgery. The oper-
ating table’s structure (completely in stainless steel) together with an innovative design put the tables at highest level in their class.
Three available bases have been projected with the purpose of giving to the operation theatre an innovative and compact design. The
modular table tops can be composed by a various number of sections, according to each surgical application while they can safely sup-
port patients of up to 250kg weight.
