The book series ‘The Wizz Kit‘ based on the latest syllabus prescribed by the NCERT and in
accordance with the guidelines of the latest National Education Policy for CBSE, ICSE and
the State Boards- is our collaborative attempt to raise the level of learning in the classrooms
and build confidence in our children. These user-friendly and effective learning resources are
designed to provoke thinking while engaging the child actively in the classroom.
We have built upon the student’s natural tendency to explore, play and discuss newly
discovered ideas that help them master concepts. The powerful visual appeal will stimulate
the curiosity of the young learners to encourage independent thinking while the interactive
approach will promote their kinesthetic development.The child friendly colourful texts create
an ambience of joyful learning where students can imbibe the nuances of learning without
getting intimidated by it. The hands-on activities are designed to develop the cognitive and
psychomotor skills of the children. No specialized equipment is required for these.
‘The Wizz Kit‘ offers learning resources for the development of Language – English, Hindi,
Mathematics, Social Science, Science and Environmental Science.
Language – English: Communication-both verbal and written is an extremely important life
skill. We are confident that the language book will enable communication skills in reading,
understanding and expressing both in speech and writing. Opportunities for expression of
questions, thoughts and feelings, conversation, story, poetry, dramatics are also embedded
seamlessly in the kit.
In Mathematics, we have adopted an analytical approach for the development of problem-
solving, critical reasoning and logical thinking skill within students. The emphasis is to shift
learning from the rote method to learning by doing and relating all concepts learned in the
classroom with real world applications.
For Environmental Science, Science and Social Science our objective of developing a
scientific attitude in children leads to understanding of concepts, development of independent
thinking and experimental skills and arousing curiosity to know more. A right balance
is sought gradually by moving from known to unknown and simple to complex approach.
Contemporary issues such as conservation, preservation and pollution have been stressed to
enable students in the process of self- discovery and the need to live in harmony with nature.
‘The Wizz Kit‘ hopes to nurture and hone the communication and linguistic, logical and
mathematical skills and aptitude in students. It also seeks to help them imbibe right values and
progress towards a holistic development. Learning is a life- long process and we are constantly
reinventing ourselves to contribute effectively to the cause of education.

A) Articles

‘A’ and ‘an’ are placed before singular countable objects.
