DILG Nueva Ecija 2020 Annual Report

DILG Nueva Ecija’s Annual Accomplishment Report for FY 2020

ANNUAL REPORT

About the
Logo

The redefined logo embodies the symbolism of what DILG
Nueva Ecija is, its personnel and the institution. The DILG logo
in the middle signifies what it is taken by the heart, where the
vision and mission must be demonstrated by the personnel to
the clients that we serve.

The elements of the logo represent the province as it is
nationally known as the “Rice Granary of the Philippines”,
producing the largest rice yield in the country. The logo also
intends to include the elements of the culture of Nueva Ecija
with four (4) congressional districts of Nueva Ecija, which
symbolizes the four (4) stalks or “uhay” with golden grains
composing of the 32 local government units (LGUs) in the
province.

The green leaves characterize the values of DILG being
Mahusay, Matino, and Maaasahan.

About the
Cover

The COVID-19 pandemic has been a wake-up call for all of
us to appreciate the value of concerted action. We need to
work together in fighting against the deadly disease. As a
Department aiming for continuous development and
improvement, DILG Nueva Ecija has been actively delivering
its utmost service to the public more importantly in this trying
time.

The cover photo symbolizes the strength and power of
the men and women of DILG who are persistently working and
serving the public with their untiring efforts. Regardless of the
amount of roles and responsibilities tasked to the Department,
we stood strong and united as one.

The black and white theme symbolizes the challenges
posed by the pandemic. Despite this predicament, we have
remained hopeful and vigorous in the fight against COVID-19.
The yellow font color of “2020 Annual Report” symbolizes joy
and fulfillment from the accomplishments we have achieved.

Provincial Director’s
Corner

Engr. Renato G. Bernardino

Greetings for everyone!

As a primary catalyst in local governance, DILG Nueva Ecija envisioned to continually
improve the delivery of basic services of our Vision, Mission, and Quality Policy of DILG
Region 3.

This year, 2020, had been tough for all of us as it is a year of pandemic. But COVID-19
didn’t fully stop us, the Department of the Interior and Local Government to work and
deliver our mandates to the Local Government Units. Instead, we are one of the frontliners
in our fight against COVID-19.

Further, though the hardships and efforts of all DILG Field Officers and Provincial
Office Personnel who are the backbone of the department, working in the field, we were
able to surpass all the challenges in the implementation of programs and projects. We
extend our sincerest gratitude to all of you!

With this, we would like to grab this opportunity to present the FY 2020
accomplishments of DILG Nueva Ecija in this very challenging year!

We continue to uphold being epitome of Matino, Mahusay, at Maasahang DILG!

Thank you very much.
