the production of the soft ice cream machine and now have gotten
the KONOS certificate. We stick to the standards of SB/T10235-94
and the domestically controlled standard of Q/WSL02-2002, made
by the Republic of China throughout the whole production line. We

9001-2000, in accordance with the requirements of the food
hygiene standards.
2. Pay Attention to the Machine
When using this machine, the heat will be poured out with much noise. To
prevent the burning and to assure the hygiene of the food, we have the strong
recommendation that you would better use it in house with the air ventilated freely
and regularly. The machine will not work regularly if the voltage is too low or the
atmosphere around is too moistly. All these conditions should be paid special
attention.
Hardness has been set before leaving factory .normal range of hardness
setted is 2.0-3.5 under 380V voltage .hardness is 3.5-5.5 under 220V voltage . dont
exceed hardness value to prevent machine from damaging .water rate cannot
exceed 2.5times when mix ice cream powder and water to prevent machine from
freezing tank .
3. Machine installing
A.stripping and checking
2.Inspecting package and base support ,if find damaged seriously .notify the carriver
compensate and fill terms of compensate.
3.a)Cut and remove the packing strip which fasten the carton and Backing Board
b)Open the top of carton and take out Polystyrene Foam Board
c)moving carton
d)Inspect the regulator. Check the regulator for evidence of damage or contamination.
e)There is wire binding between Base support and machine (bottom of
machine ) ,please cut off wire binding and lift up machine then take off base support in
order to keep level with wheel and machine .Angel of machine must not exceed 45℃
when carrying machine.
4.Open back board of machine and check inside of circuit .belts .compressor and other
components .whether causing loose due to transport. Please contact supplier and solve
if find abnormally something .use hexagonal to prevent nut from loosening
5.Open the top cover to check that all the parts mentioned in the packing list are
included.

12.Installing of air pump(picture 2) . It is necessary to clean 1-18 itemparts everyday .or
reduce usage life of air pump , it is necessary to check Sealing ring (2piece.under18 item)
inside of air pump regularly ,if find wear and tear please replace new for it .or causing
leaking hopper from rear hub support ,any problems will be responsibility by user .
13.Instruction of using air pump :First make it at the angel of 45degree to install feeding
tube (5) better When install air pump.then connect air pump to (20).
Attention Please install o-ring ,or leaking air and affect working of air pump .it is need of
adjustting pressure of air pump via adjusting handle of loading tube (10),and attention
that replace o-ring (11)wear and tear regularly .and adjust normal pressure according to

4.Adjustment and using of machine

A.testing machine
1.press "clean"button to make motor of beater working .press"clean"button again to shut
off cleaning function .
2.Shut off "clean"function then press"power"button .motor of beater work first ,about
10seconds later ,compressor and fan motor running and cooling start . shut off cooling
function if press "power"button again.
3.If you would like to convert "clean ""cooling".you must shut off function running ,then
press button needed
4.If voltage is too low or too high ,indicator light (red) flashing and alarm (hum).cooling
function will not working
5.display show 1.8 hardness value after connection powder.Hardness valve must be
adjusted 3.5-5.0 valve If need make ice cream .
★Note :suggest inspection if machine is not working
B.Cleaning and pasteurization
1.Make sure to health of consumer and improve usage life of spare parts of
machine .you must clean and pasteurizate to machine at the end of end to avoid causing
unnecessary trouble .
2.Insert puffing tube into hole of hopper tank to inlet liquid .and ensure alignment hole by
hole .
3.Put pasteurization liquid into two hopper tanks .ensure liquid surface above bottom of
hole of expand tube .
4.Turn on clean function and running 3-5mins.
5.Outlet pasteurization liquid Via dispenser valve.
6. Adopt method aboved .Wash bad smell of pasteurization liquid by clear water .
★Note :Inlet water of tank washing later .if there is water in the tank .it is easy to damage
beater under running
C.Make ice cream
1.Pour ingredients liquid into hopper tank and exceed to bottom hole of puffing tube
Better make sure it to flow into tank .

Belt should be adjusted immediately when belt get longer after using long time .show
illustrate that move motor left ,also can adjust up-down distance of two belt .if belt still is
loosen please change new belt .
2.ice cream hardness adjustment
Press “ ”“ ”button to adjust soft and hard of ice cream when machine stay in cooling
state .hard will be increase 0.1 each time you press " "button ,just mean that increase
hard of ice cream .hard will be reduce 0.1 press " "button .the bigger number of
hard,the harden ice cream. The smaller number of hard ,the soften ice cream .
★Note :Note:dont adjust it frequently ,or destroy whole circuit.

When the controller is at the status of parameters set and any key is not touched
in 10 seconds, save the set parameters automatically ,exit set status and enter
standby status.
5.3. Molding current set
When setting molding current is needed, press“ ”key for 2 seconds, enter the status
of current set, display last set current and glitter, press again “ ” or “▼ ” key to
increase or decrease the set value, the current value is increased or decreased of
0.1A per pressing “ ”or“▼”key. After 5 seconds of finishing set, the set value is
saved automatically and returns the status of monitoring the current, displays the
nowaday current of the churn-motor.
5.4. Work flow of process
1). Standby status
When the controller is connected to the power, it enters the standby status
automatically: buzzer transitorily rings, the indicator of “standby” is lightened, LED
displays “0.0”, and churn-motor and compressor are not running.
When the controller is cleaning status or automatic status, it can enter the standby
status by pressing “stop” key.
When the controller is standby status, it can enter the cleaning status by pressing
“cleaning” key.
When the controller is standby status, it can enter the automatic status by pressing
“automatic” key.
2). Process of cleaning
The controller enters “cleaning” status by pressing “cleaning” key: the indicator of
“ cleaning ” is lightened, buzzer transitorily rings once, other indicators is
extinguished, and only churn-motor runs. LED display the nowaday current of
churn-motor.
When the controller is cleaning status, it can enter the automatic status by pressing
“automatic” key.
3). Process of automatic
The controller enters “automatic” status by pressing “automatic” key, other
indicators is extinguished, the indicator of “automatic” is lightened, buzzer
transitorily rings once, and the controller normally starts: churn-motor starts, and
compressor starts after 15 seconds, LED display the nowaday current of
churn-motor.
When the controller is automatic status, it can enter the cleaning status by pressing
“cleaning” key.
A. Normally halt
PANDA VENDING LIMITEDWhen the current of churn-motor comes to the set value, it indicates ice-cream is
done, compressor stops, churn-motor stops after 10 seconds. The controller
restarts again after 5 minutes’ normally halt; the controller also restarts again if stuff
is supplied for 5 times in the 5 minutes’ normally halt.
B. Operation of supplying-stuff
Press the handle of supplying-stuff after normally halt, churn-motor starts, the
controller restarts if stuff is supplied for 5 times. Otherwise when the handle of
supplying-stuff is reset, churn-motor continually runs for 2 seconds, waits for the
order of the second supplying-stuff, after finishing the last supplying-stuff, delays 2
seconds, churn-motor stops and the controller enters standby status.
C. Compulsively start
After normally halt, if the controller is needed to start in 5 minutes, the controller will
restart by pressing “automatic” key.
D. Overcurrent protection
On the status of “automatic” or “cleaning”, it alarms when the measured current is
larger than the set value 2A maintaining for 5 seconds: the controller stops, buzzer
continuously rings, LED displays “JJ”. It must solve trouble and re-power after
power-cut in order to relieve alarm.
5.5. Overvoltage protection and undervoltage protection
The controller stops, buzzer continuously rings and LED displays “UH” or “UL” when
the supplied voltage is higher than the set high-voltage alarming value or lower than
the set low-voltage alarming value maintaining for 5 seconds. Re-power to relieve
protection status after the voltage returns normally.
5.6. Count of supplying-stuff
Press “+” and “-” key synchronously for 5 seconds when the controller is standby
status or running status, the controller enters viewing status of the count of
supplying-stuff, maximum count of supplying-stuff is 999. Press “+” and “-” key
synchronously again for 5 seconds when the controller is viewing status, the count of
supplying-stuff is reset. If any key is not touched in 5 seconds, the controller exits
viewing status and return the previous status.
6.1Cleaning of the machine
There are two purposes: One is to clean up the left food that sticks on the machine;
and the other is to dilute the sterilizing liquid until they are cleaned up. The process is as
follows:
z Take away the pipe of the boil-off machine in the pre-cooling vat.
z Press the button of “clean” and operate the handle to eject the dirt. Finally press
the stop button to rest the machine.
z Pour clean water into the pre-cooling vat and then press the clean button to
agitate. Some time later, operate the handle to clean the machine. Press the
button of stop to rest the machine.
z Pour the washing powder at the temperature of 60C into the pr-cooling vat, and
press the button of clean to agitate. Some time later, operate the handle to clean
the machine. Press the button of stop to rest the machine.
6.2 Sterilizing of the machines
The purpose is to extinguish all kinds of bacteria, mould, and virus, which may affect
your health. The process is as follows:
z Pour the water at the temperature of 60C into the pre-cooling vat, and press the
PANDA VENDING LIMITEDclean button to agitate. Some time later, operate the handle to clean the machine.
Press the button of stop to rest the machine.
z Pour the solvent, containing the 1009.P.M of the Cl at the temperature of 60C
into the pre-cooling vat, and then press the clean button to agitate for about three
minutes. Operate the handle to clean the machine. Press the button of stop to
rest the machine.
Serious Statement
Never pour the hot water at the temperature no lower than 70C into the machine,
otherwise the machine will be damaged.
7.Confection of the ingredient
Special attention should be paid:
z The container and other tools used in the confection of the ingredient should be
strictly cleaned and sterilized.
z Make the preparation for the ingredient of the ice cream.
z Mix the ingredient with the water and then heat them with the continuous
agitation to make them fully dissolved. If impurity is left, you should filtrate it so
that the inletting mouth will not be stuffed.
z The ingredient should be heated into the temperature at least 85C to ensure the
effect of sterilizing and cleaning.
z The lowest quantity of the ingredient must be enough for the making of the ice
cream. If you want the continuous production, please confect the ingredient
accordion toy the actual using.
z The confected ingredient should be cooled to the normal temperature before
being poured into the pre-cooling vat and the refrigeration vat. Of course, these
ingredients can also be preserved in the environment of 1 to 6C for later using.
If you use the ice cream powder to make the ice cream, please operate strictly
according to the instruction of the supplier. But special attention should be paid that the
solubility of the ice cream should not be too low or the machine may be damaged.
Basing on the characteristics of the ice cream machines, the milk contained in the
ingredient should be no less than 10% and no more than 30%, while the finger
Contained should be no less than 10% and no more than 15% so that the machine will
not be damaged.
8.Making of the ice cream
8.1The process of making ice cream machine
z Cool the prepared ingredients to the normal temperature and then pour them into
the pre-cooling vat.
z When these ingredients flow into the center of the refrigeration vat, insert the boil
off pipe into refrigeration vat and then shut it off.
z Press the “automotive” to start the agitation motor, and the compressor will work
atomically after 3 seconds. After hardness of the ice cream is proper, the
machine will stop itself.
z At this time, you can operate the handle, and let the finished ice cream out. The
machine will start itself 8 minutes later and repeat the circulation if the materials
do not need to be flowing out.
z Take away the boil off pipe, and eject the left ingredient after pressing the button
of clean.

refrigeration vat with continuous agitation. Repeat this for 3 times, and then
press the button of stop to rest the machine. Finally turn off the power.
z Swipe the pre-cooling vat and the refrigeration vat with a clean cloth for later
using.
8.2 Attention to the making of the ice cream
z There must be enough ingredients in the pre-cooling vat so that the machine will
not be damaged.
z If you want to change the expansion rate and the output, please adjust the size
of the inletting aperture. Concretely, insert the mega, media, and the small
aperture of the inner pipe of the boil off machine into the nick of the outer pipe.
The big aperture is of more inletting materials, higher output but lower expansion
rate, while the small aperture is of the less inletting materials, less output but
higher expansion rate.
z If the hardness is not enough, please adjust the hardness stalls basing on the
instruction of regulating the hardness.
z If no need of the ice cream for a long time, shut off the boil off machine.
z During the production of the three-colored soft ice cream, if only one-colored ice
cream flows out, please inject another colored ice cream into the pre-cooling vat
before the shutting off of the boil off machine. Make sure that the temperature of
the either refrigeration vat is uniform, so that the machine can work normally.
z If too much ice cream flows out for the first time, the hardness may be lower than
it should be. Stop the flowing out, restart the compressor and then make the
production until the hardness reaches the wanted degree.
9.Termly maintenance of the machine
Regular maintenance plays a important role in lengthen the life of the machine. The
maintenance mainly includes: cleaning, lubricating, readjusting, and refitting etc. During
this process, the power should be cut off, and the process is as follows:
9.1Cleaning of the machine
Cleaning of the machine is to eliminate the dust, dirt, and the attached waste on the
machine to keep the good performance and appearance of the machine. During this
process, the clean water, washing powder, brush, and cloth are usually used. Never
use the inflammable, dissoluble and toxic materials, such as alcohol, petrol, and
organic solvent to prevent the damage to the people and the machine parts.
z Detach the left, right, and behind panels of the machine before the cleaning of
the inner machine. Do not touch the electrical parts and other refrigeration parts,
especially the valves.
z During the cleaning process, use the clean water to swipe the radiator. Do not
splash the water onto the machine and dry the compressor after cleaning.
z Turn off the venting mouth button, and take away the O-sized sealing ring and
meanwhile detach the parts of venting mouth.
z Take away the cylindrical plug and the O-sized sealing ring of the boil of machine.
That is to seize the one end of the part with one hand and squeeze the O-sized
sealing ring into a line with the other hand. Then take away the O-sized sealing
ring.
z Put the detached parts into the washing bucket, and use the washing liquid to
swipe the parts and then the clean water. At last dry the parts for later painting

z Clean the pre-cooling vat and the refrigeration vat and then dry them.
9.2 Lubrication
After the cleaning comes the process of lubrication. The machine parts that
contacting the food should be lubricated with the practical lubricant and the Vaseline
provided only by our company.

z After 150—400hours of the regular working of the decelerator, the lubricant
should be changed. The later changing circle will be less than 400 hours. The
recommended lubricant is: G-N680W perpetual screw oil.
9.3 Regulation
z Check the strain of the belt wheel. The method is to press the belt by using your fore
finger and the middle finger with the pressing quantity of about 15mm. The pressing
is too much, the belt will be too loose, and at this time, adjust the fitting place of the
agitating motor to tighten the belt. If the belt is seriously damaged or the strain is too
much, new belts are needed.
z Check the joint of different parts of machine and retighten the parts. If corrosion
exists in the machine, the corrosion eliminator should be used, but pat attention that
the belt and the rubber should not be polluted.
z Check the insulation condition of the machine. Use the resistor of 500V to check the
electrical line and the shell of the machine. Generally the insulation resistance is no
less than 5MΩ. Less than that, the machine should be checked to assure the safety
of using.
9.4 Refitting of the machine
After the cleaning of the machine, refit the parts and use the screw to set the left, right,
and behind panels. Then do the following jobs:
z Put the back axis on the agitator, and lay the white plastic ring beside the back of the
agitator with the red plastic ring beside the back of the machine. (See the 1.4:
agitation and venting material pictures)
z Put the agitator into the refrigeration vat and slowly revolve the axis of the agitator to
be in accordance with the axis of the impeller.
z Fit the O-sized sealing ring, and set the venting mouth on the machine. The strength
used should be uniform and proper. If the O-sized sealing ring is uniformly and tightly
beside the refrigeration vat. If it leaks, refit the machine parts. After the checking,
press the button of stop to rest the machine.
z Put the boil off machine into the pre-cooling vat.
ATTENTION
The maintenance of machine should be done after the cutting off of the machine.
Only the experts or the specialists should examine the performances and electrical parts
of the machine.
10. The common problems and the solving methods
During the using period of the ice cream machine, there may be some problems.
Once the problems occur, do not deal with it freely. You should examine, analyze, and
finally find the problems. Then the repairing job can be done subsequently. Make sure
that you have a clear knowledge about the machine problems and the non-machine
problems. The non-machine problems are usually result from the environment, materials,
and the voltage etc. The repairer of the machine ought to have the basic professional
knowledge of the machine and also the common sense.
During the period of “3 inclusive”, please contact the related persons of our
company first if problems about the machinery and the refrigeration occur so that the
machines can be properly repaired and the interests of the customers can be well
protected.
