3.4.1 Receiving Room
• The first room that connected from loading bay.
• Receiving room is a place that receives all archive materials from loading bay.
• All archive materials need to be transported from this room to another by using trolley or other
machine that need to be carry all the archive materials.
3.4.2 Triage Room
• A temporary storage room for incoming materials from receiving room.
• This room is isolated from another room to prevent contagious insects and harmless mould that can
affect all documents.
• All the materials need to be inspected and placed on carts for transfer to the next area.
3.4.3 Work Room
• The second room for treatment area and for this room where all materials that have been clean off
are safe to introduce into the processing or collections area.
• It need hot and cool water sink.
