BWH Hotel Group Brings BW Premier Collection to Danang
BWH Hotel Group is excited to announce the signing of a new BW Premier Collection hotel in Danang, the vibrant city on Vietnam’s central coast. Scheduled to open in 2021, The Royal Da Nang Hotel, BW Premier Collection by Best Western will be located in a prime position overlooking the Han River and close to local landmarks such as Tran Thi Ly Bridge and the Sun Wheel. Developed by Sun Frontier Investment Limited Company, the hotel will feature 125 rooms and suites and a range of upscale facilities.
Upon opening, it will become Best Western’s first property in Danang. This forms part of a strategic expansion of the group’s portfolio in Vietnam, with new hotels and resorts expected to launch in key destinations such as Dalat, Cam Ranh, Phu Quoc, Hoi An, Halong and Nha Trang in the coming months and years.

Seven Simple Ways to Reduce Your Operating Costs in the Kitchens
There are many ways to reduce your hotel’s operating costs, but they do not always require major changes. Now, this is the good time for your engineers to perform basic maintenance in high energy-use areas like kitchens. Check out our seven simple tips to reducing waste and cutting your overheads.

Chillers, refrigerator and freezers are major energy consumers, so it’s important to keep them as efficient as possible. One way to do this is to clean your condenser coils.

Gas burners are one of the main cooking equipment. By cleaning them regularly, you can improve their performance and use less gas.

Water filtration systems and softeners can prevent the build-up of mineral deposits. Keeping filters clean or replacing them at the appropriate time will protect your equipment and reduce energy consumption.

Check your boilers regularly and descale them if necessary.

Repair leaky faucets and joints. To reduce water waste, try to check every pipe and water outlet in the kitchen for leaks and repair them where necessary.

Consider implementing low-flow aerators to reduce water waste at hand -washing sinks.

Repair or replace the door seals of all chillers and freezers as necessary.
