‘I am number confident to 5, forwards and backwards’

Using numbers as much as possible and asking your child
to help you count and bring numbers into their play.

At the supermarket set tasks for your child to get you 3
carrots etc.

When making lunch can they get 2 pieces of bread, 1
piece of fruit and so on…

When playing can your child build a tower with 5 blocks.
Singing number songs or rhymes can also help your child
count such as 1,2,3,4,5 and 5 current buns – remember the
songs are online to help you if you cannot remember all

the words!
