Monitoring equipment data and installation
disturbance is one of the absolute requirement that PLN - P3B SUMATERA
must be fulfilled by an Institution of Electricity
Service Provider to know the level of reliability
services that have been given and also as the history
database of installed equipmenton its installation. To
facilitate the monitoring, PLN P3B Sumatra has
implemented the Force Outage Information System
(FOIS) and Condition Based Maintenance (CBM)
application that has been integrated with SAP.

Asset Management System based on SAP and Condition Based Maintenance requires
Backup of Application Server and Database to avoid the risk of data loss and disruption of
maintenance process. In addition, it needs good protection against data traffic in order to
be monitored and identified to avoid attacks to the server from irresponsible parties.
