INTRODUCING
ATTORNEY
SINTIA SOLIS
BEHIND THE SUCCESS
Sintia Solis Law Firm PLLC serves a diverse popula-
tion of clients. The main areas of practice are crimi-
nal defense, immigration, and personal injury.
Sintia Solis a.k.a. "Your Abogada Sintia" was born in
Veracruz, Mexico, soon after she was born her par-
ents moved to Tamaulipas, Mexico, where the fami-
ly built a home and settled down.
Under the Immigration Act of 1990, Sintia's parents
decided to take the opportunity to permanently im-
migrate to the United States as a family. They were
full of fears not knowing how they would make it in
a foreign country. Especially because they did not
know the language or culture, yet they were hope-
ful and looking forward to the "American dream'" of
a better life for them and their children. Once in the
United States the family lived in a tiny one bedroom
apartment in a very low income area of Pasadena,
Texas. Sintia soon started kindergarten and did not
know a speck of English, she was in English as a
Second Language classes for some years until she
learned to speak, read and write English.
Thirteen years later, soon after high school, Sintia
was a single mother. Nevertheless, she decided to
start classes at a community college while working
a full time job. She made up her mind that regard-
less of her circumstances she was not going to let
her parents down after all their hard work and the
sacrifices they had made to leave their home coun-
try and immigrate to the United States to give her a
better life.
It was a long hard road for personal reasons, howev-
er, after much hard work and dedication Sintia grad-
uated from the University of Houston Clear Lake.

SINTIA
SOLIS
LAWFIRM
Sintia then worked as a realtor for a few years but
she knew her heart and passion were always in
the law. After her sons were old enough to all go
to school she took the leap of faith and decided to
do what she needed to do to apply for law school.
Sintia was accepted to law school and as a mother of
three boys managed to rank in the top ten percent
of her class all three years and graduated law school
Summa Cum Laude with honors. While in law
school she took immigration courses and was also
part of the criminal clinic. Sintia acquired dismissals
for her clients even before graduating law school as
a student attorney!
Sintia is now a proud mother of three wonderful
sons and a pug. She is also the proud daughter of
the most amazing and supportive parents. Her
strong Christian faith is the foundation and strength
that keeps her going every single day.
22
Sintia's personal experience as an immigrant herself
and her own struggles in life; combined with her
passion for justice and helping others, is the reason
she is able to empathize with her clients and truly
care about them and their loved ones.
In only a year of opening her own law firm,The
National Trial Lawyers named Your Abogada Sintia
Top 40 Under 40 in 2021. She has also purchased her
own office building and her firm continues to grow
providing people like her who love people and the
practice of law an opportunity to join as she calls it
her "SSLFam."
She plans to expand her practice within Texas and
eventually all over the United States to serve more
communities with honest and zealous representation.
