It’s an honor to speak with you. Why don’t
you give us some details about you and
your story. How did you get to where you are
today?
La Abogada Bianca Calderón de Lachica, a
Corpus Christi native, landed in the big city of
Houston after marrying her college sweetheart
Eduardo. "I’m from a small city, with big dreams.
Growing up I would drive by all these billboards
of powerful attorneys and noticed there was not
one female… and I knew I wanted to change this.
Because we can’t be, what we can’t see. Now
my commercials air every day on Univision and

Bianca began practicing law early, at 23 years
old after graduating from South Texas College
of Law. Bianca quickly landed at a prominent

During Bianca’s first five years of practice, she
became a mother—first to her daughter and

to pass the bar the first time… I’ve always had
goals and met them 99% of the time. Now, those
dreams and visions have grown way bigger than
I imagined, but I’m excited for what the future
holds and know the best is yet to come… I hope
to serve thousands of clients throughout my
career while also inspiring the next generation of
Hispanic Lawyers”.



I’m sure your success has not come easily.
What challenges have you had to overcome
along the way?
Being the only female in the room and having to
overcome the oh honey… you can’t do that… or
stay in your lane. Let’s just say I didn’t let that
stop me.



Let’s talk about the work you do. What do
you specialize in and why should someone
work with you over the competition?

I am a personal injury attorney handling cases all
across Texas. I truly love what I do and wanted
to be an attorney since I was a little girl. I have
a very special gift of connecting with my clients

on a professional level and I am very protective
over them. I listen to them and truly enjoy listen-
ing to their story and figuring out the best way to
help them. Also, being a mother and a wife myself
helps me relate to my clients on a deeper level. I
have a fabulous team that share the same ideals
as me, putting every client’s case on the fast track
and ensuring that there is always an open line of
communication and trust between myself, my
clients and my team. Unlike other firms, clients
are not just a number to me… I see them as my
greatest source of advertising because if a client
is happy they will tell ten of their friends about me,
but if they are unhappy with my services they will
tell 100 people. I truly love to serve, and realize
that being involved in a personal injury accident
can be very stressful and confusing but one thing
about my firm is I do not want working with my
firm to be a part of that stress.


What’s your best piece of advice for readers
who desire to find success in their life?
Invest in yourself, stay focused, don’t let anyone
put you in a box. Realize the best way to find the
best version of yourself is through challenges and
getting out of your comfort zone.

mean to you?
