not stop”- Confucius
We welcomed the session, with new hopes and aspirations in
abundance.
We had first impression of the parent and the child and created a
memory which will last forever.
Each section chose a picture of a vehicle as the theme for the name
tag which was coloured by the children.
Finger printing activity was conducted for the bag tags of the
children.
Circle Time - Myself
Circle time activity on Myself – It was a consistent opportunity
to connect with the children along with their parents.
A carefully planned time in which children developed a wide
range of skills such as confidence, self-esteem, talking and
listening. Circle time helped children to enjoy learning about
themselves .
The children and parents introduced themselves in this activity
by mentioning their name, favourite colour, etc.
International Yoga Day
It was celebrated by organizing yoga during the morning assembly, in
order to enhance the awareness of yoga.
Children chanted few prayers and performed basic asana under the
guidance of Mrs. Manisha, the Yoga instructor with close supervision by
the respective class teachers.

Comparing Qualities – Same & Different
Story / Rhymes
Story:
Story helps your child to interpret sounds, learn new words and develop
early literacy skills.
Creativity is an important skill, and teachers can build on this skill by having
children draw pictures of characters or settings after telling a story.
Rhymes:
Rhymes can teach children critical verbal skills, such as repetition and
rhythm, that facilitate language development.
Strokes
All drawings and handwriting is produced
by a series of strokes that form curves and
straight lines in different directions, which
are linked together to form patterns,
shapes, letters and numbers.
Left & Right Concept
Having children dance to the Rolly Polly rhyme
in the classroom and assembly not only proved to
be fun but also was a rewarding experience by
enhancing physical activity.
Without knowing the left and right direction,
children naturally learnt the concept.
Cleanliness
Good personal hygiene is very
important and if children learn it at
an early age it will be of great help to
them in life.
Scribbling Activity
Scribbling and drawing are the first steps in
learning to write.
They look like a lot of lines, loops and squiggles.
But these strokes are very important to a young
child.
They are a child's way of writing his / her thoughts.
Sand Pit Area
Playing in the sand pit is fun and a great way for children to
learn different skills.
Children can manipulate the sand to make different kinds
of shape.
