LITERARY MAGAZINE
We are going to create literary magazines based on topics that interest you. You may choose one partner in class. Choose this person
based upon mutual interests. Make sure you consider the following: Will this person share the workload equally?
THEME
The first step in creating your magazine is to be clear about your theme. The theme you select should be a topic that interests both of
you, is broad enough for you to write about from several different angles, and also something you will stay interested in for two-three
weeks.

Hobby magazine

Your work is to be divided equally between partners and is due in its entirety on May 11, 2015. Five points per day will be deducted
for assignments turned in after the May 11th deadline.

your own) funny riddles or
jokes to include in your
magazine. Include at least 5.

You will come up with a
question to poll your
classmates about, and then
you will record the results.

You will create at least 1
advertisement (real product
or fake) to include in your
magazine.

You will pick a few things
(clothes, people, games,
food, trends) that are in
style, as well as a few that
are not in style at the
moment.

Design a cover that includes
the title, a photograph or
illustration, and previews
what we should expect to
find in the issue.
