AVAD Brownies is a start up brownies
retail establishment located in Kuala
Lumpur. AVAD Brownies expected to catch
the interest of a regular royal customer base
with its variety of brownies. The company
plans to build a strong market position in
the town, due to the partners’ industry
experience and mild competitive climate in
the area.

AVAD Brownies aims to offer its products
at a competitive price to meet the demand
of the middle to higher income local market
area residents and tourists.

• AVAD Brownies is a confectionery business that aims to produce and sell
high-end baked goods to retail. We sell pre-made as well as made-to-
order confections using local ingredients. AVAD Brownies is a dessert
company based in Kuala Lumpur, but we have lately expanded to
Politeknik Balik Pulau. We will attract consumers through highly visible
signage,word-of-mouth advertising and social media.Our sales strategy
includes hiring employees who genuinely enjoy baking mouthwatering
brownies. We will constantly evaluate all aspects of the business and
individually interact with our consumers, reviewing food options for
popularity and keeping favourites on the menu as we rotate weekly and
seasonal specials.We are expecting our business to grow exponentially
and with increasing profits over time.

3.3 NATURE OF BUSINESS

• The brownie is a cross between a cake and a cookie in texture.Brownies
come in a variety of forms. They are either fudgy or cakey,depending
on their density, and they may include nuts, frosting,whipped cream,
chocolate chips, or other ingredients according to the customer’s
requirement. A variation that is made with brown sugar and no
chocolate is called a blondie.Brownies are common lunchbox fare,
typically eaten by hand, and often accompanied by milk and coffee.
They are sometimes served warm with ice cream, topped with whipped
cream or marzipan, orsprinkled with powdered sugar.

• Our business's future possibilities are that we want our shop to develop
and flourish over time.We also want to open a lot of companies
overseas to make this AVAD BROWNIE shop can become famous and
popular in Malaysia.

The Manager will be control overall activities that occur in
the shop and monitor all subordinates.

• Assistant Manager
The assistant manager ensures operational excellence by
performing managerial tasks, such as scheduling, maintaining
inventory, and/or evaluating employee performance.

• Accounting Role
Budgeting of the start up money and report the financial
health of the business and suggest solution when financial
problem occurred.

• Seller
Which is the one responsible for advertising and selling the
product.

5.1 OFFERS

• As a bakery,AVAD Brownies shop will have some offers. The
first 100 early birds that purchase our product will get some
promotion and better deals. The promotion that we give is 5%
offer and more.

5.2 LOCATION OF THE BUSINESS

• Brownies business will open only in the area of Politeknik Balik
Pulau, Penang.This business is fully focused for customer regardless
of age limit and we offer low prices to costomer many purchases.We
rented the place because it was a college. So every day many students
and letchurer will come there





6.2 INTRODUCTION

• AVAD Brownies focuses sales in Politeknik Balik Pulau with a population
estimated by the Poly students to be 32,803 in coming soon. During the
first two weeks of operation, our company plans to sell to immediate
additional markets in others state increasing the market size. In doing so,
our company will partner with local businesses in those communities to
sell AVAD Brownies dessert and to teach local cake decorating classes.



6.4 TARGET CUSTOMERS

• As a bakery,AVAD Brownies shop will have a broad target market.People of all ages,
from youngsters to adults, like to eat tasty snacks, espicially the school and university
students. We are also providing sugar free desserts for diabetic customers.This
dessert is not a high priced brownies and it will be available to nearly all people
regardless of varying incomes. Located in an area with a high poly students and
letchurer rate, the target market of this company will include tourists however many
locals will also indulge in the delights. The dessert of AVAD Brownies will be
appreciated by all consumers who simply enjoy a decadent treat. Whether consumers
are looking for plain,simple brownies, or intricately designed treats,this bakery will
be able to meet their needs. For consumers who are looking to come in and sit down,
AVAD Brownies will be preferred by customers who enjoy a calm,modern,comfortable
atmosphere.

• AVAD Brownies has a number of competitors. Our competitors would be confections
shops. Those involed in the baking and selling of desserts and beverages.The
products of the various firms in this project are usually very similar and so therefore
for us to be different in the bussiness plan, we intend to produce highly differentiated
confections. Thus we intend to sell brownies based on customers' request and
designs. We planned to provide beverages and will add ice-creams with very
appetising brownies different from that of our competitors.Though we shall be very
new in this aspect, we expect to have a competitive edge over our competitors in the
domain of distribution and customer servicing. This would be achieved through the
fact that we shall constantly ensure that our retailers do not run short of brownies.
We always ensure the sweety indulged brownies are there at the time needed even on
weekend days. The satisfaction of our customers is the primary things in our minds
as they are king that is, those who decide our pay package. To conclude on this
aspect of competition you would bear with us that we would have an either equal or
higher hand over our competitors thus a competitive advantage over them.





7.2 Product/Service Policy

• Brownies are the key product of AVAD Brownies, and product quality is essential for
the success of the business. In order to ensure product quality, this dessert will
emphasize cleanliness and sanitation, use quality ingredients, and will always be sure
all brownies are properly baked. Innovations are also an important factor in the
growth and success of the company. This dessert will start by offering a variety of
options, from simple flavors like chocolate and vanilla brownies as well as different
kinds of frostings, and numerous decoration styles for all types of occasions.
However,to grow as a business, it is important for AVAD Brownies shop to innovate
their product. To do so, the dessert will continually work to develop and test new
recipes for new flavours of brownies. Doing so will allow the company to have more
variety to offer and possibly attract new customers. Doing this will give consumers
something to look forward to in upcoming months, as well as increase business as

Likewise, the dessert will have continuous cost of supplies for baking, and any

eventually earn profits, all these things must be considered when determining the
price.Based on all these calculations, the business will develop an idea of a
minimum price option.Then, the company will research the prices of comparable
products of other similar businesses in this poly. As long as the prices of
competitors are high enough to cover the costs calculated for this bakery,AVAD
Brownies will choose prices that are competitive with the industry.

• AVAD Brownies will open as a small business with just a single bakery however, over
time the business will strive to expand. Expansion will begin in Politeknik Balik
Pulau. As the success of the overall business increases, AVAD Brownies will slowly
open more brownies shop in other, larger areas, perhaps in a city location.

• The internet is an extermly efficient method of expanding a business. Through online
publicity, a company becomes accessible to a much wider range of consumers. For that
reason, AVAD Brownies will create a company website which will costomers to view
everything offered by the dessert, as well as place orders. Consumers will then be able
to pick up their order at a nearby AVAD Brownies or for consumers not near a AVAD
Brownies will be shipped.
