One man was deeply reminded by a recent incident, which was a disrupted flight and the main plane crash in the sandy Sahara. This caused him to have numerous thoughts running through his mind and he felt incredibly exhausted. So, he found a place to rest and sleep. Then, he heard a little boy whispering in his ear, asking if he could help him draw a picture of a cute and sweet sheep
The young boy, who called himself the Little Prince, said that he came from a distant star called B612. It was a very remote and unknown star. However, he chose to come to the sandy Sahara here, and he was going to tell the story of how he came and why he came.
The little boy, who was a pilot at that time, had a childhood dream of becoming a cartoonist. As he grew older, he faced numerous discouraging remarks from adults, saying that being a cartoonist was meaningless. He was forced to choose to become a pilot and ended up feeling unhappy.
The Little Prince began to narrate his story, explaining that he came because of a flower that he loved. Before coming to Earth, he had encountered various other stars and met powerful beings in those stars. They had urged him to stay and live in their stars. However, their words left the Little Prince confused and unhappy.
Until he encountered the planet of geography, where a powerful being resided, who told the Little Prince to come to Earth if he wished to study the matters he desired. So, the Little Prince went to Earth and met people who shared stories about the flower he had inquired about. They explained that the flower that brought him happiness was a beautiful rose. However, they also told him that a flower, regardless of its beauty, does not possess eternal endurance. This realization saddened the Little Prince deeply because he had believed all along that the flower he cherished would last forever. Despite his sadness, he eventually accepted this truth.
The Little Prince continued his journey, hoping to find happiness. He arrived at a meadow and encountered a cunning fox. The Little Prince was drawn to play with the fox and expressed his desire to do so. However, the fox warned him that they were strangers and had no prior relationship. Despite this, the Little Prince persisted in his efforts to play with the fox. Eventually, they played together and experienced immense joy.
Later on, the Little Prince had to say goodbye to the fox. The fox was deeply saddened and asked why the Little Prince had to leave, questioning why they couldn't stay together. The Little Prince responded, saying that in many relationships, there comes a time for goodbyes, but even in parting, there can be happiness. In that moment within his heart, he realized that nothing lasts forever, no matter how much happiness it may bring. However, if different beings have roles and responsibilities, they must say goodbye and move on. The Little Prince reassured the fox not to be sad, and he left the fox's life completely.
The Little Prince continued his journey and arrived at this sandy desert. He narrated his story to the aviator, who listened intently. As the aviator listened, the Little Prince felt a multitude of emotions inside his heart. He was deeply moved by the experience. With newfound determination, he stood up and began repairing his airplane once again.
They ventured together to find a well of water, and there, they encountered a well of water in the middle of the desert. That day became a daybreak for the aviator, as well as a day when the Little Prince revealed that he was bound to this planet and it was necessary for him to return to where he started. It also marked the moment when the aviator successfully repaired his airplane and prepared to depart in full readiness.
And when he returned, the pilot had many thoughts and was happy to be with the little prince. Even though it was only for a short time, he was happy.
This story teaches us that following our dreams is the best thing we can do and being with the things we love. We should not resist the things we dislike if we want to be happy in life. And some things cannot stay with us permanently. We must accept them and let them go.
