in addition to an Outpatient follow-up clinic and spasticity clinic.
Responsibilities also include teaching of residents and fellows.

Position for a satellite Inpatient unit (approximately 25 beds).

FELLOWSHIP POSITIONS AVAILABLE
n Brain Injury Medicine Fellowship Position

This ACGME-accredited one year Brain Injury Medicine
fellowship will provide the selected candidate with exposure to
the continuum of care for patients with a spectrum of severity of
impairments from brain injury. The experiences and challenges of
this one-year fellowship will prepare the candidate to medically
manage the brain injury patient population on the inpatient and
outpatient basis, and ultimately direct and manage a brain injury
program. It will also prepare the fellow to take the Brain Injury
Medicine Certification Exam and become board certified in
Brain Injury Medicine.
n Pain Medicine Fellowship Position
This ACGME-accredited one year Pain Medicine fellowship will
provide the selected candidate exposure to a multidisciplinary pain
program. The candidate will be prepared to practice all aspects of
pain medicine and ultimately manage a comprehensive pain
program. It will also prepare the fellow to take the
Pain Certification Exam and become board certified in
Pain Management.

Cancer Rehabilitation Physiatrist
We seek a physiatrist to lead the expansion of our cancer
rehabilitation program at UW Medical Center – Montlake and
the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, providing clinical care to a
diverse mix of oncology patients primarily in the outpatient
setting. The successful candidate should have experience in
cancer rehabilitation, and the ideal candidate will have
completed a cancer rehabilitation fellowship.

Musculoskeletal Physiatrists with Expertise in Sports,
Spine and General MSK Medicine
We are looking for a musculoskeletal physiatrist to expand a
spine-focused outpatient practice embedded within our
academic department. Although the focus of the practice will
be spine care, the successful candidate will also be comfortable
managing a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions within
the areas of sports and spine medicine. Experience with
procedures including musculoskeletal ultrasound, spinal
injections, and/or electrodiagnostics preferred but not
required. Candidates must have strong clinical skills and a
commitment to excellence in teaching.

The Harvard Medical School Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is seeking Board
Eligible/Certified Physiatrists for inpatient and outpatient positions. Candidates must have excellent clinical
and academic credentials, a commitment to teaching and a strong interest in developing an academic career in
Physiatry. Responsibilities may include program and practice development, medical leadership and direction
for administration and teaching and research. Successful candidates will receive an academic appointment of
instructor, assistant or associate professor as appropriate at the Harvard Medical School Department of PM&R.
Inpatient/Outpatient
Practice opportunities exist for physicians experienced in general PM&R, stroke, general musculoskeletal
medicine, neuro-trauma, neurorehabilitation, sports medicine, lyme disease and/or interventional spine
procedures.
Pediatric Rehabilitation
Board Certified Pediatric Physiatrist will provide outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation care for pediatric
patients at Spaulding Rehabilitation Network and other Harvard teaching hospitals in the Boston area. The
physician will collaborate with a team of experienced pediatric physiatrists, pediatricians and healthcare
professionals from other disciplines.
Research
Scientists with interests in Neuro-Trauma (especially SCI), Stroke, Pediatric PM&R, Musculoskeletal, and
Spine Care/Pain Management research that are clinical and/or laboratory focused. The successful candidate
will have outstanding departmental support, strong research infrastructure, excellent departmental colleagues,
and potential for collaborative opportunities within the department and with other investigators at Harvard
Medical School. MDs/DOs and/or PhDs are eligible. Individuals are eligible for Assistant or Associate
Professor at Harvard Medical School.
All positions are based at Spaulding Rehabilitation Network and/or Massachusetts General Hospital, other Mass
General Brigham member hospitals and outside hospitals.
