You know what I mean? You could say I’m the word “almost” , But “almost” implies that I’m lacking in certain areas, That some percentage of me is missing, That I’m only adjacent to the version of me that I want to be, however, not to boost my own ego but I feel pretty complete, I feel content with who I am, I’m a pretty cool person, Well, on paper at least, I guess I’m just not that easy to read, I’m right where I need to be, Yet I am still, Just, There. Someone once asked me, If you were a word, what word would you be? It would be difficult to condense a whole complex being filled with thousands of memories, nerves, and emotions into one artificial bunch of letters, So I thought about this question for hours, Then I concluded that if I were a word, I would be the word “just” , It is a vague word with several meanings but the one I relate to the most is the “just” that “just” doesn’t cut it, You’re pretty but you’re just not my type, I just found someone better, You’re just a friend, I just can’t be with you, You just weren’t what we were looking for, I managed to meet the expectations of other people but I just can’t impress them, I’m a nice girl who treats people well but I just can’t make any friends that last, Poem : Just Karya Iklil Amani binti Md Hamim 4 Al Hafiz 198
