Intake Education Instructions

EPSILON BETA BETA Epsilon Beta Beta Chapter

Intake Education

The Education Phase will be a four-session process. During this period, the following areas shall be
covered, based on the information that the prospective candidates were
previously given. We will be asking for Brothers to participate by covering certain items/areas
below. We need full participation from Brothers on this when and where possible!

1. History

A. International
Events leading to the founding and incorporation of the Fraternity
Biographical sketch of the Founders
The early pre~1918, structure of the Fraternity
The story behind the National Shrine of Omega
The names of the former Grand Basilei
The "Great Transition"

B. Local – History of Local Chapter

C. Fraternities in General
1. The first American College Fraternity
2. The history of historically African American Greek Letter Organizations
3. When and where founded

CANDIDATES SHALL COMPLETE THESE ASSIGNED PROJECTS

1. FRATERNITY PROJECT - A meaningful or useful gift to the Fraternity and a scrapbook.
