A MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL’S DESK

Greetings!

With profound joy I congratulate the children and team of
teachers for bringing out ‘Sapno ki Udaan’ ‘The Dream
flight’ that too amidst pandemic and lockdown of schools.
Undoubtedly the past year has been full of challenges but
remember children challenges are what makes life
interesting and overcoming them is what makes life
meaningful. Dear children the ideas, thoughts and
creativity you have put forward are not just commendable
but reveals how beautifully you have overcome all the challenges with your hard
work and determination. Nevertheless, the support and dedication of your parents
and teachers too is worth appreciating. It gives me immense pleasure to see how
well you have accepted the new normal of on-line learning and of living life safely
and healthily and even more pleased to see that you are utilising the time wisely
and are striving hard to make your dreams come true. Accept responsibility for
your life. Know that it is you who will get you where you want to go, no one else.
May the New Year 2021 be the most fruitful year of our lives, filled with
achievements for you .Wishing every day of the New Year to be filled with success,
happiness and prosperity for you and your family members. Continue to board the
dream flight & I really wish and pray that all your dreams come true.

Grandparents were so delighted to express their views and shared

their experiences of childhood and school days and expressed

gratitude towards school for remembering them and honouring

them by celebrating ‘Their Day’ on the occasion of Virtual

Grandparents’ day celebration held on 11/11/2020 at 9 am.

Children too expressed their regard and love for their

grandparents through their cards which they had made

themselves and through their poems and speeches.


Principal Mrs.Sunita Diwakar concluded the programme with a

meaningful and thoughtful message that every day is supposed to

be a Grandparent’s day and that the children should give care,

time, due respect and above all love to their grandparents all the

time and make them feel that they really are special & precious.

VIRTUAL CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION

On 13 Nov. 2020 Children’s day was celebrated virtually wherein Fancy dress
competition was held for the children. Children left everybody awestruck by their
mesmerising performance & presentation .How to beat this pandemic of Corona
virus was the theme taken up by many which shows how aware and prepared even

our children are to fight the pandemic. A dance and song too were presented by
the children on this occasion. Wishing the children HM sir reminded them of their
duties and responsibilities for their betterment and betterment of nation at large.


Principal madam too in her final Blessings appreciated the children and their
parents for their magnificent performance and reemphasised on the measures to
be taken and lifestyle to be adopted to keep oneself safe from Corona.

‘Missing School’


A school is a place for learning and teaching but for me,it is a
place beyond just studies. It is a playground, a home outside of
home, a temple, a garden and what not. After the exam in March

I was eagerly waiting for the school to reopen but sadly due to
COVID-19 the school couldn't start. It is June and the summer
break is over yet the school remains closed. Day by day I miss my

school very much. Now I do not dress in the uniform or have

ponytails every day. I miss the assembly queue in which I stand
every morning. Loving and caring touch of my teachers I miss the
most. I miss the constant chatter with my friends and sharing the

lunch during the break. I miss the swinging and sliding below the

big jamun trees and free play during games. I miss to take part in
competitions and to make art and craft with friends. With each
passing day I pray that we win the battle against COVID-19 soon,

so that the school reopens. -Viyati Devlani (VA)

Joyfully, wilfully and wholeheartedly children took part in different activities held

under Fit India Campaign celebration. So enthusiastically they sent their video
recordings doing different fitness activities like aerobics, yoga , skipping etc. and
made awesome posters too. Parents too co-operated and participated in the
discussion on the topic Fitness and briefed about the methods they adopt to keep

their families healthy and fit. It seems ‘Fitness Mantra’ has taken a front seat in
every house. Isn’t it wonderful !

Though in the beginning we thought teaching learning would not be
possible via on line method but very soon all our fears vanished seeing
teaching learning taking place so well and so smoothly. Thanks to KVS

and all the teachers.

Sparing time, we too sit with the children during online classes with the
mere intention of learning how we too can help teach our children. And
honestly saying we too are enjoying and learning a lot many things like
making PPTs, PDFs etc. A wonderful job done by all the teachers.

Now at times when we see our child sitting in front of us and not paying

attention to what teachers are saying rather doing something else
during online class time, we understand how difficult it is to teach so
many children together in a class. Hats off to you teachers!

Children have started taking interest in household chores and keep on
experimenting a lot of activities be it of Science, Maths, languages or

art and craft or music. For the first time now, my child has taken interest
in knowing the names of vegetables and other food he eats. A good job
by all the teachers.

Since online classes are for two hours only per day children are getting

ample time for other activities but then face to face interaction with its
so many benefits is missing. Barring connectivity issues on line classes
are good in a way as whatever teachers teach is quite audible and the
audios n videos sent in Google Classroom help as support material..

I would like to thank and appreciate all the teachers for encouraging
children to learn new things and for the hard work they are putting in for
preparing and sending videos, audios and worksheets related to the to

the lessons taught from time to time. They indeed are very useful self-
learning tool. I believe the trio i.e. parents, teachers and students must
work hand in hand , as a TEAM for the best results.

others.”
The above quote was so relevant, when suddenly one fine day, the world

had to shut down due to Covid19. When the entire parent fraternity was
worried about the studies of their wards our proactive KV teachers very
well accepted the challenge of teaching all the students online. The best
lesson which our kids have learnt from their very own teachers I believe

is how to face new challenges in life &to never give up no matter how
difficult the conditions are. Thanks for such an important lesson of the
life.

Online Teaching enables teachers to use a number of online resources
such as videos, PDFs, podcasts, etc thereby enabling them to extend the
lesson beyond traditional textbooks .On the other hand children too can

attend classes from anywhere irrespective of the place where they are
provided they have a consistent internet connection with decent speed..
In school over all development of student takes place as they learn a lot
from each other and in the process develop sense of sharing, self-

development, self -management, communication skill, secularisation,
moral development and many physical skills. However, in online classes
there are minimal physical interactions between students and teachers.
The holistic development of students remains incomplete in online

classes.
