The establishment of Laguna Bintan Conservation Lab was aimed to increase level of awareness and support for the protection of the surrounding ecosystem among the resorts guests, associates, and local community. To support this awareness program, the Lab is also collaborating with scientists and other parties to conduct surveys on biodiversity and endangered species, and carry out habitat conservation and enhancement projects in the resort and surrounding area. Guest can participate in the conservation effort by donating the fund through GIF (Green Imperative Fund) matching fund mechanism. Angsana and Cassia Guest may donate minimum IDR 14,000 per one night stay per room and Banyan Tree guest IDR 28,000 per one night stay per villa.
