1 Settings for @active.ch Email Accounts

This factsheet contains the configuration data for email clients (Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail etc.).
The same settings can be used for mobile devices (iPhone/iPad, Android, BlackBerry and Windows
Phone), too.

1.1 Mail Client Settings POP/IMAP without SSL

Mail server Incoming server (POP3) pop.active.ch (Port 110)
Incoming server (IMAP) imap.active.ch (Port 143)
Username Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp.active.ch (Port 587)
Authentication [email protected] (your email address)
Webmail Incoming mail und outgoing mail
Admin console Imperatively with your username
User name: you email address and personal password
Password: your personal password

1.3 Email Restrictions

Maximal number of recipients 50 recipients per email
Maximal size of attachments 25 MB per email
Emailing limit in a certain timeframe 250 emails per hour and domain

Good to know!

 green.ch is a member of the initiative StopSpam. You find the details at www.stopspam.ch. For this reason
the unauthenticated emailing isn't allowed. It's required to authenticate with the correct username and pass-
word.

 The authentication is only possible with email addresses, for which a subscription at green.ch exists. For ex-
ample sending emails with a gmx.net email address isn't possible over our outgoing server smtp.active.ch.

 The reception using the TLS encryption isn't possible over POP (Port 110) and IMAP (Port 143).
