My most memorable day at school was when we went
to the kidzania .When we went there we got a watch
and some kidzos. Then our teacher told to choose a
partner and play. We went to a shop where we got to
know how to make milkshake. I and my partner also
went to buy costumes. Then we also went to the aero
plane, it was very scary .I sat in the ambulance with
my partner and also went to the dentist. Then we
went to the sweet shop and bought a surprise egg. At
last we had some pizza and juice. Then we also got a
cap and a toy dog after coming back to class we got
too many gifts like dolls, pouches and a big bag and
that was the most memorable day at school. I cannot
forget the experience, I had.

Obese Cindrellaaa ....!!!!

Cinderella stunk at soccer.
She was bad at basketball.
Though equipment filled her locker
she could hardly play at all.

Baseball, football, hockey, tennis;
none were Cinderella’s sport.
No one feared her speed or menace
on the field or rink or court.

Though she spent her evenings training,
and on weekends she would drill,
practicing without complaining,

she could not improve her skill.

Her performance wasn’t stellar.
Still, she was beyond reproach. That’s because she

had a pumpkin for a coach

UAE – A HOME AWAY FROM HOME
Being born and brought up in UAE, UAE has always
been my home since my first step into life. It was only
after my visit to India, at the age of three, I realised
that UAE is my “home away from home”.

Never before or after have I ever felt I am
staying in a different country other than my mother
land. My parents and I along with my small brother
stay happily in Dubai. We celebrate all festivals and
follow the same culture and traditions we would have
done if we were in India. The daily routines, the dishes
we make, our dressing are all as per the traditions
followed in our home country while also respecting the
laws of UAE. The availability of things, vegetables,
dresses used in our daily life makes us feel more at
home. During festivals, all items are readily available
in supermarkets all over the country. People celebrate

their country festivals in a joyful way and does not
feel the missing of their home country.

The UAE government has always been very
supportive to all the people living here and has
provided the expatriates the freedom to live our life
in a way we would have in our home land and follow our
customs and beliefs in our day to day life.

UAE is a very safe and homely country where the
government provides complete support and protection
to all people and does not differentiate between the
people based on their nationality. All Nationality
people are promised complete safety and any concern
to the public are taken up with utmost responsibility &
priority, in the same way we would have been
supported in our own country.

In UAE, we are receiving the best education with
all curriculums in our country. Parents can provide best
education to their children as per their preference

and requirement in any streams. Health sector
assistance is best and we do not need to think twice
while consulting any hospitals in UAE as quick and
assured treatment is provided.

Woman security & child safety is given utmost
priority in UAE. In all, the thought of staying away
from our home land is never a concern in our mind as
we are staying in a country which provides us the best
of all - the freedom to live our life following our
culture and traditions, a safe environment, best
education and an advanced health sector.

A Big Salute & a heartfelt Thanks to the
government and people of UAE for making us feel “AT
HOME”. UAE is and will always be my HOME AWAY
FROM HOME.

LOVE YOU UAE…….

A Bat who couldn’t fly

One night I couldn’t sleep. I came out to enjoy the
breeze. I saw many bats flying in the air, suddenly
someone shot a bat. I quickly ran to catch it. When I
looked at it carefully, its wing was damaged. I quickly
took it in my house and put a bandage on its wing.
Next morning when I woke up I saw it resting. I
gently touched its wing, it turned and swirled but
didn’t wake up. When I went for my breakfast I told
my parents about the bat. They suggested me to call
the veterinary. At night I called the VET when the
bat was awake. The VET told me that his wing got a
fracture. I got scared, I asked her, “When is it going
to heel “. The VET said,” It will almost take a day or
5 to heel “. At that moment I decided to help the bat
in any way I could. After a few days, its wings
started healing, and he was able to fly a little.

One day, I came back from school and I found him
disappeared, I thought, he might got healed well
enough to fly out …

Whenever, I don’t get sleep, I always remember that
bat.

My most memorable day at school

One of the most memorable things in my life was the
day when I first went to school. I really wanted to
get there, because some of my friends had already
become schoolchildren, and I followed them. I have
long fantasized how I will sit at the desk, listen to
the teacher, learn to read and write.

But when that day finally came, I was frightened.
Mom woke me up in the morning and said that it’s
time to go to school. I told her that I did not want to
go, and I’d rather stay at home. Mom was very
surprised, because she knew how I wanted to go to
kindergarten. She had to persuade me and explain
that this is okay, and I will have many new friends at
school. When I approached the school, there were

already a lot of people, they were all fussing and
making noise. Then we were built in the school yard
on the line.

Our classroom was large and bright, on the windowsill
in the pots were flowers, and on the walls hung
colourful posters. The teacher seated us at the
desks and began to conduct the first lesson. She
talked about our school, about what we will study
during the first academic year. And then she invited
everyone to introduce themselves.

Some kids were not able to express themselves &
started crying as they were missing their mom. But I
was very happy for the new beginning at school. At
the end of the day my teacher gave me a cute gift &
also a certificate saying ‘I was awesome at school
today’ because I didn’t cry like other kids and was
smiling & happy. I came back home happily and told
her how my school was.

Flying Taxis! What would be next?

Flying Taxis……Yes next it can be a Flying house.
The house that you can travel anywhere you want to
go.
We can travel to different places in our houses so we
don't need to waste our money for our flight tickets
and hotel stay rent.
Flying houses will be an amazing invention in future.
Life will be more easy and cheaper if you have a
flying house. It would save our precious time too.
How exciting. A dream comes true for many of us.
Hope this invention would be made as soon as possible
by our inventors.

My Most Memorable day in School
I have many memorable days at school that I always
love to remember. One of them is the day I took part
in English declamation competition for the first time.

I had prepared very hard for it . There were many
participants from all the sections, I was nervous and
when my name was announced I felt I forgot the
entire speech.
My friends were cheering me up by calling my name.
When I stood in front of the mike I was able to
recollect the entire speech. I spoke confidently and
got down from the stage.
When the result was declared I had not won which
made me sad . Same day one of my teacher called me
and appreciated me for my confidence and she also
advised me to practice a lot so that I can win next

time. Another teacher told me that I have a good
voice which made me very happy and confident.
This made that day very memorable to me.

A long time ago I used to be interested in fairy tales.
Until one day my mother introduced me to the world
of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry;
From the book Harry Potter and the Philosopher's
Stone. The story is about Harry Potter and his two
friends on a quest to unravel the secrets of their
mysterious school. All those different spells were
amazing. I even watched the movie and watching the
Quidditch match on screen, which is like playing
basketball in the air, is what got me more interested!
That was the point at which I started liking the
movie too. I wish someday I could go to a school just
to fly on a broom stick and do some real magic.

The Golden Fish and The Shark

Once upon a time there lived a school of fish in a
fresh and blue sea. There was a fish named Goldy and
he was gold in colour. All the fishes were happy in
that place, but there was a problem. There was a
shark who always likes to eat the fishes. One day, all
the fishes were playing in the sea. Suddenly, they
heard a loud sound and everyone was scared. He
swam to the sound, he was curious to know where the
sound coming from was. The other fishes followed
him. He knew that who was making this loud sound
and why was he making that sound. He came back to
his friends.

His friends: Who was making that sound and why was
he making that sound?

Goldy: The shark was making that sound because he
was hungry and he did not get any food to eat. All the
fishes were hiding and they were very afraid. He
started to make a plan and he shared his plan to his
friends. His friends took the materials needed for
his plan. When the shark arrived near to the fishes,
the fishes suddenly took a net and captured the
shark then all the small fishes bit the shark and the
shark was hit badly. “He should get this punishment”,

said one of the fishes because the shark has eaten
all the small fishes. He always used to be greedy and
selfish.

Moral of the story:- We should not be greedy ,
selfish and we should not hurt others .

What HAPPINESS means to me…..

Happiness is a beautiful feeling. It is the
feeling of joy, satisfaction, and enjoyment. I
know that for everyone happiness is different in
means, but all of us want to be happy.

Happiness comes in a lot of forms with
respect to me. I can find happiness even in the
smallest things in life. I am very happy while
playing with my little brother and spending time
with my family. My parents take care of me
and provide me everything I need in my day to
day life. They make sure that I stay happy.
I feel very blessed and loved with my family and
it is my biggest happiness.

My friends are also part of my happiness.
They are my family away from home. I can
play many games with them. I feel happy when
I share things with them. They will be there
for me at any time when I need help and this
feeling is happiness for me; no doubt.

Happiness is there around all of us, we have
to find it. For me happiness is being surrounded
by people who love me, and that is my life itself.

The robot which showed the future.

One day when I and my sister where playing
with my toys, my father came into my room with
museum tickets. He said, “Let’s go to the robot
museum". We quickly got ready and went to the
museum in my father’s car. When we reached
there we saw many kinds of robots, with boards
mentioning their names. One of the cabin had a
robot with the board mentioning "The robot
which show the future".
While I was reading its information the robot
started moving and talking. He welcome
everyone in his robotic tone. Everyone got
scared they were about to run, but this robot
said, please do not panic, I will not harm anyone,
I am here to help you and give you information.
I am here to show you your future.

Suddenly robot pointed towards a giant LED
screen, where a short movie about how our city
will be after 50 Years from now. We can see
advanced technology everywhere, including,
schools, hospitals and also houses. World looked

very different and digital in that video. It was
amazing experience and everyone was happy at
end of the video and we all thanked that robot.
