PROCESSIONAL ANTHEM (BCP pg 491)
INTROIT “The King of Love My Shepherd Is”
THE 1982 HYMN (pg 645)
1. The King of love my Shepherd is, Whose goodness faileth never;
I nothing lack if I am his, And he is mine for ever.
2. Where streams of living water flow, My ransomed soul he leadeth,
And where the verdant pastures grow, With food celestial feedeth.
3. Perverse and foolish oft I strayed, But yet in love he sought me,
And on his shoulder gently laid, And home, rejoicing, brought me.
4. In death's dark vale I fear no ill, With thee, dear Lord, beside me;
Thy rod and staff my comfort still, Thy cross before to guide me.
5. Thou spread'st a table in my sight; Thy unction, grace bestoweth:
And O what transport of delight, From thy pure chalice floweth!
6. And so through all the length of days, Thy goodness faileth never;
Good Shepherd, may I sing thy praise, Within thy house for ever.

APOSTLES’ CREED (BCP pg 496)
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I
believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by
the power of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered
under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He
descended to the dead. On the third day, he rose again. He
ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion
of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life
everlasting. Amen.

OFFERTORY HYMN (LEV AS 60) ‘How Great Thou Art”
1. O Lord my God, When I in awesome wonder,
Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made;
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed.
Refrain:
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!
2. When through the woods, and forest glades I wander,
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees.
When I look down, from lofty mountain grandeur
And see the brook, and feel the gentle breeze.
3. And when I think, that God, His Son not sparing;
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in;
That on a Cross, my burdens gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin.
4. When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation,
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart.
Then I shall bow, in humble adoration,
And then proclaim: “My God, how great Thou art!”

THE LORD’S PRAYER (BCP pg 364)
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom
come; thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day
our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those
who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver
us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for
ever and ever. Amen.

HOLY COMMUNION
POST COMMUNION PRAYER (BCP pg 498)
Almighty God, we thank thee that in thy great love thou hast fed us
with the spiritual food and drink of the Body and Blood of thy Son
Jesus Christ, and hast given unto us a foretaste of thy heavenly
banquet. Grant that this Sacrament may be unto us a comfort in
affliction, and a pledge of our inheritance in that kingdom where there
is no death, neither sorrow nor crying, but the fullness of joy with all
thy saints; through Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.
POST COMMUNION HYMN (#208) “The Strive Is O’er”
1. The strife is o'er, the battle done; the victory of life is won;
The song of triumph has begun. Alleluia!
2. The powers of death have done their worst, but Christ their legions
has dispersed. Let shouts of holy joy outburst. Alleluia!
3. The three sad days are quickly sped; he rises glorious from the dead.
All glory to our risen Head. Alleluia!
4. He closed the yawning gates of hell; the bars from heaven's high
portals fell. Let hymns of praise his triumph tell. Alleluia!
5. Lord, by the stripes which wounded thee, from death's dread sting
thy servants free, that we may live and sing to thee. Alleluia!
THE COMMENDATION (BCP pg 499)
Give rest, O Christ, to your servant DIANA with your saints, where
sorrow and pain are no more, neither sighing, but life everlasting.
You only are immortal, the creator and maker of mankind; and we are
mortal, formed of the earth, and to earth shall we return. For so did
you ordain when you created me, saying, “You are dust, and to dust
you shall return.” All of us go down to the dust; yet even at the grave we
make our song: Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.
Give rest, O Christ, to your servant DIANA with your saints, where
sorrow and pain are no more, neither sighing, but life everlasting.
Into your hands, O merciful Savior, we commend your servant,
DIANA. Acknowledge, we humbly beseech you, a sheep of your
own fold, a lamb of your own flock, a sinner of your own redeeming.
Receive her into the arms of your mercy, into the blessed rest of
everlasting peace, and into the glorious company of the saints in light.
Amen.
