About Department

Department of Mechanical Engineering offers B. Tech program since 2001 and M. Tech programs since 2006. The department has a rich tradition of
technical research and is widely recognized to be a pioneer in Mechanical Engineering education in Gujarat. The laboratory facilities and the
infrastructure are regularly upgraded and are well supported by the institute. Over the years, interaction with industry and the emphasis on applied
engineering has increased. We provide a vibrant & creative learning environment for our students.
