ADAKAN POLISI GANGGUAN SEKSUAL
Pekerja harus sedar dan faham apakah yang
dikatakan gangguan seksual di tempat kerja
Organisasi khususnya harus menyediakan satu
polisi di dalam jabatan/syarikat tentang anti-
gangguan seksual
Mereka juga perlu diberikan contoh-contoh
gangguan seksual yang boleh berlaku supaya
mereka memahami sifat polisi
Polisi tersebut juga sepatutnya dapat
menerangkan bahawa tindakan itu tidak akan
diterima di organisasi tersebut, dan tidak akan
membalas dendam terhadap seseorang yang telah
membuat aduan mengenai gangguan tersebut

SENTIASA PEKA DI TEMPAT KERJA
Organisasi khususnya bahagian
sumber manusia harus peka dengan
keadaan di tempat kerja
Sekiranya wujud sebarang kesangsian,
tanya pekerja sama ada mereka
mempunyai sebarang kebimbangan
Sekiranya ada apa-apa yang membuat
perlakuan tersebut boleh ditafsirkan
sebagai gangguan seksual sama ada
dengan melihat atau mendengar maka
syarikat/Jabatan harus segera
mengambil tindakan sewajarnya
jika gangguan seksual disyaki

MEWUJUDKAN PERSEKITARAN ANTI GANGGUAN SEKSUAL
Apabila wujud kes-kes gangguan seksual di
tempat kerja, organisasi harus mengendalikan
dakwaan gangguan seksual dengan bijaksana
dan terhormat tetapi tetap mengekalkan
ketegasan dan keseriusan menangani
masalah ini
Siasatan perlu sentiasa dikendalikan secara
profesional dan tiada aduan yang akan
diketepikan
Majikan sebenarnya boleh didakwa kerana gagal
untuk menyiasat kes gangguan seksual dan
mengambil tindakan yang sewajarnya
Pastikan pekerja boleh berasa selamat dan
selesa apabila mereka bekerja

Organisasi haruslah berusaha dalam
memberi informasi yang cukup
kepada pekerja-pekerja di dalam
Jabatan/Syarikat seperti:
Mengadakan seminar-
seminar tahunan untuk
mengkaji semula polisi gangguan
seksual untuk memberi
penerangan apakah yang
dikatakan gangguan seksual dan
apakah yang akan dilakukan jika
seseorang telah, mendakwa
telah diganggu secara seksual

Membuat satu mesyuarat untuk
menerangkan polisi anti-gangguan
seksual yang wajib dihadiri semua
kakitangan organisasi supaya semua
orang dalam syarikat itu mampu untuk
memahami polisi-polisi dan kesan akibat
gangguan seksual

SEXUAL HARASSMENT BILL AS SOON KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 22, 2021 - The Ministry of

committed to ensuring that the Anti-Sexual

Its minister Datuk Seri Rina Mohd Harun said,
however, the due diligence process had to be carried
out carefully which would take some time.
She said currently, the process of reviewing and
improving the draft of the bill as well as engagement
sessions with various stakeholders were being actively
implemented before the bill is submitted to Cabinet for
approval, and then tabled in the Dewan Rakyat.
“There are several issues raised that require in-depth
study like the elements of prevention and social
responsibility to ensure preventive measures are
implemented in the organisation,” she said when
winding up the debate on the motion of thanks for the
royal address, in the Dewan Rakyat here today.
She said attention was also given to another element,
namely the safety of victims who come forward to
lodge complaints.
SEXUAL HARASSMENT BILL AS SOON Rina said the ministry also took into account numerous

The Anti-Sexual Harassment Bill was formulated to
improve the existing justice system through the
establishment of a special tribunal to handle sexual
harassment complaints promptly, by using the
standard of proof on the balance of probabilities, and
awarding compensation or damages to victims, she
said.
She said that the bill was being drafted collectively
through a special project team, which aimed to
address sexual harassment issues including the high
