The Flying Bear

The flying bear

Once upon a time, there was a

bear whose name was Bob. they call him
the amazing bob man they call him
because he is amazing! I mean, duh! it is
in his name. He was a famous bear in the
village.

He had a friend named, jod. Jod
was a bird, a big bird when I say big, I
mean big. Anyways, jod was always
bragging about how he could fly, and that
made bob feel left out. Bob went home
that night and sat in bed while mama bear
read Bob a book before bed. That book
was about a Magic Frog that turned into a

prince at midnight. Midnight was the
"Magic Hour."

Mama bear said before she left the
room that magic was real. Mama said that
to make Bob feel good about himself.

almost every night, the grandfather
clock went off at midnight. When he heard
the clock that night, that story gave bob
the idea that midnight was the magic
hour, and bob could try and fly. So, he
went to jods house.

When bob got to jod's house, bob said
his great idea.

jod said, "that is the worst idea I have
ever heard."

bob just left without him. he went to
the waterfall and jumped and fell into the
water. Not once, not twice, but three
times. bob was there all night!

finally, bobs mama got so worried that
she went looking for him.

When mama found Bob, they went
home and had some soup. Papa had the
biggest bowl. Mama had the medium bowl
and Bob had the smallest bowl. Bob was
still disappointed in himself because he
did not fly.

Papa said to Bob, "Don't worry. you
will get it."

mama said, "you better get to school,
or you will be late."

Bob got up and started walking to
school.

When he got there, he saw jod
hanging out with the cool animals. That
made bob feel worse about himself, so
bob asked to go to the nurse’s office.

the teacher said, "yes, bob left school."

bob went to the waterfall again. he
jumped and fell again. he tried one more
time and still didn't get it. he just went
home and to his room, he got ready for
bed and mama walked into his room and
asked are you ok I got a call from your
school saying you didn't feel good bob
said I’m not ok mama said friends are
going to change always be ready to make
new friends it might be said losing a friend
it’s ok it happens to all of us mama asked
again are you ok now bob said ya when
he fell asleep the clock went off at
midnight. Bob got up and left he found
himself back at the waterfall. he jumped
again he did not get it but he keep trying
on his third try he did it he was flying he
flew into the village and went home and
told Mama and papa they told him it was

probably just a dream and go back to bed.

He did but the next day he felt confident

and hosted a party so he could show

everyone that he could do it. He got back

up on the waterfall and jumped. he was

flying. Everyone was cheering for him. He

came down to jod, jod apologized to him

jod said can we be friends again bob said

no but bob was not sad he was proud of

himself. He went home happy as could be

and took that book and put it away for

when he needed it again. THE END
