Introduction of Assignment 01

-The assignment 1 is to study about the History of Western Architecture
through case study.

-The assignment 1a is about the Roman Architecture and the assignment
1b is about Malaysia building that around our house.

-To analyze the similarities and the differences between the two
building

-To compare and identify differences between two buildings on building
materials, space planning, ambiance, scale, proportion and structure

Temple of Bacchus, Baalbek

• It is a small Roman temple in the Baalbek, Lebanon
• It is also called as the Roman god of wine.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I have learned about more knowledge about History of Western
Architecture after I have done this assignment. I have choose two buildings which
is located in Roman and another one is located in Malaysia. I have choose the
Roman Architecture building which is called Temple of Bacchus, Baalbek and the
Malaysia building is called Muzium Sungai Lembing .In my opinion, after I have
compare the difference between Temple of Bacchus, Baalbek and Muzium Sungai
Lembing with the building material, scale , space planning, proportion and
structure. This two building similarities and difference architectural style due to
the development of culture in different country from time to time and the
technology will become more advanced.
