is an American singer, musician
and songwriter who plays an
important role and is known as
the lead singer of Slipknot and
Stone Sound.
Taylor joined Slipknot in 1997,
replacing Anders Klosefny, the
band's first lead singer. and has
worked on a studio album with 5
sets of the band. He is also the
founder of alternative metal
band Stone Sound. with five
studio albums with Stone Sound

In Des Moines, Iowa, Joey
Jordison, Shawn Crahan, and
Mick Thomson invited Cory to
join Slipknot. which he agreed
to be part of their rehearsal,
and became the band's
vocalist. The nine members of
Slipknot Corey joined the band
for the sixth time. while
performing with Slipknot He is
known as "Number Eight", in
which the bands numbered
members from 0-8 according to
Shawn Crahan's order, Corey
was numbered eight. Because it
is an infinity symbol.

Slipknot
United States of America was founded in September 1995. It was founded by
Shawn Crahan and Paul Gray after several initial changes and they formed nine
members who have been together for more than a decade: Sid Wilson, Chris Fehn,
Jim Root, Craig Jones, Shawn Crahan, Mick Thomson, and Corey Taylor bassist Paul
Gray died May 24, 2010 and were replaced between 2011 and 2014 by former
guitarists Donnie Steele and Joey Jordison, leaving the band on December 12, 2013.
Unknown followed by Donnie Steele leaving the band during the recording of the
album .5: The Gray Chapter as he wanted to focus on the wedding. It is now
represented by touring bassist Alessandro Venturella and drummer Jay Weinberg.

history of slipknot
Slipknot was formed in Des Moines, Iowa in September 1995 when drummer
Shawn Crahan and bassist Paul Gray started a band called The Pale Ones.
Vocalist Anders Colsefni and guitarist Donnie Steele [4] Shortly after their
founding, Paul Gray invited Joey Jordison to rehearse the band because of
his interest in experimenting with additional drum compositions. Jordison later
joined the band as lead drummer. and moved. Crahan played percussion.
Colsefni also played percussion while still the band's vocalist. And the band
decided to invite Josh Brainard to be the band's second guitarist. With six
members already gone, on December 4th, the band released a live album
called Meld.
