Elderly man and his broken tools

Once upon a time…there was
an elderly man that would get
water from a well every single
day. He has two buckets.

One fully intact and one with a
tiny crack on the side. So every
day on the way back water would
leak from the cracked bucket and
end up being only half full.

Over time, the cracked bucket
grew depressed. And told the owner
“I can not do what I was fully made

to do”
“I can only do half of what other
buckets can do”
“Could you please fix me?”

The elderly man replied

“Do you not see that on the way
back”
“The only side that has flower on
it … is the side that you water
every single day ?”
You may do half of what others
buckets do but you also make it so
we have beautiful flowers in the
world and in our home.

Everybody serves a different purpose
in life and it makes it hard to see
when we compare ourselves to what
others can do. Sometime we don’t
know that our scars are what make
the world beautiful.

So, surround with people that help
you see you potential and your value.
Some may say … that you scared ,
you are flawed and you are imperfect.
But others may say …” you are
different , you are unique and you
are rare.
