ลูกหมลี กู เสอื ลกู สิงห์ ลกู ช้างลกู ลงิ และลกู หมปู า่ ชักชวนกนั ไปวง่ิ เลน่ แดดรม่ ลมเย็น
มาเลน่ ซอ่ นหา ใครจะปดิ ตากอ่ นนะ ฉนั ปิดเองจะ้ ลูกหมอี าสา

Little Bear, Little Tiger, Little Lion,
Little Elephant, Little Monkey, and Tiny
Boar play together on a breezy, sunny
day. They play hide and seek. Who will
seek first? "Me," says Little Bear.

Little Bear closes his eyes and counts.
The others find places to hide. Little
Tiger hides behind a bush. Little Lion
hides in the grass. Tiny Boar runs
ahead of Little Elephant, hiding in the
middle of a wild flower field.

ลกู ลงิ หอ้ ยโหนวอ่ งไว ปีนขน้ึ ต้นไทย ใบสกปกหนา
เอ๊ะนน่ั รังนกอะไร ดูสิมีไข่ สขี าวนวลตา
อยากไดไ้ ขน่ กเสียจงั หยิบออกจากรัง เก็บไว้ดกี วา่

แอบไวต้ รงโคนต้นไทร เพอื่ นกลบั เมอื่ ไหร่ ค่อยยอ้ นกลบั มา

Little Monkey swings in a banyan tree, hiding behind the leaves. "Oh, whose nest is that? There are eggs
in a creamy white color." How he wants those eggs! Taking them out of the nest, Little Monkey hides
them under the banyan tree. He intends to come back when his little friends go home.

The little animals enjoy playing,
shouting cheerfully,
Suddenly there is a sound.
A loud chirp chirp.
What a strange sound it is! It
comes from banyan tree.
They all go to find out what it is.

จึงถามดว้ ยความหว่ งใย เธอรอ้ งทาไมล่ะจะ๊ นกจา
ไข่ฉนั หายไปนะ่ ซี โปรดชว่ ยฉนั ที นะชว่ ยกนั หา

Eagle-eyed Little Tiger tells the others
that it is Mother Bird. He asks her why
she cries. "My eggs have disappeared. Can
you help me find them?” Mother Bird asks.

หาท่ัวกไ็ ม่เหน็ ไข่ เวลาผา่ นไป ต่างเหนอื่ ยเมอ่ื ยลา้

All the animals help her instantly. Little Bear
looks in the hollow. Little Tiger searches in
the wild flower field. Little Lion, Little
Elephant, and Tiny Boar look in the grass
and the bushes. They cannot find the eggs.
Time passes. The little animals are tired.

ช่วยเธอหาไข่ นะจะ๊ นกจา่ ลูกลงิ สดุ แสนโลง่ ใจ เพอื่ นไมเ่ จอไข่ ซ่อนไวล้ บั ตา

It is getting dark. The little animals
promise that they will come to help
again the next day. "Tomorrow we will
come back to help you
find the eggs." Little Monkey is
relieved. No one can find the eggs.

ตกดึกจะไปเอาไข่ แอบหนีแม่ไป เดนิ ย่องชา้ ชา้ กลางคนื ปา่ เงยี บสงดั แว่วเสียงลมพัด
ลกู ลงิ ผวา นกึ กลวั ขนึ้ มาทนั ที มืดมดื อยา่ งน้ี กลัวกลวั กลา้ กลา้

That night, Little Monkey sneaks out
from the house quietly. The forest is
silent at night. There is only the sound
of light wind. It is dark everywhere.
Little Monkey is scared.

ฮอื ฮือเสยี งดงั ระรวั สะดงุ้ สดุ ตวั หนั หลงั หนั หนา้ ฟงั สิ กรอบแกรบเสยี งดงั ลกู ลิงกลวั จัง
รอ้ งเจย๊ี กลนั่ ปา่ ไม่ทนั ไปถึงตน้ ไทร กลวั เกินหา้ มใจ ชว่ ยดว้ ยแมจ่ า๋

Boo hoo. There is a strange noise.
Little Monkey trembles, looking around
in fear. He cries out loud hearing the
sound, “Crack crack!” He is too afraid
to reach the banyan tree. "Help me,
mother!" He cries.

Mother Bird hears him. She flies over and
sees Little Monkey shuddering.
“What happened?” “You got lost, right? What
are you doing in the forest at night?"

ตอบเสียงแผ่วแผว่ ไมก่ ลา้ สบตา แม่นกไมค่ ิดสงสยั อาสาพาไป สง่ บา้ นไม่ชา้

Little Monkey stutters, “I forgot something,
so I came out. Now I found it.” His voice lowers.
He looks away. Mother Bird does not doubt him.
She takes Little Monkey back home.

It is late at night. Little Monkey cannot sleep.
He is nervous. Mother Bird was so nice to him.
He is ashamed. Tomorrow he will return the eggs
to her.

Little Monkey wakes up early in the morning.
He goes to collect the eggs hurriedly. He
carries them gently and returns them to
Mother Bird. Mother Bird sings gladly.

After that, the other little animals arrive to
help out as they promised. Little Monkey tells
the truth in tears. Mother Bird forgives him,
and so do his friends. Little Monkey smiles.

ทาผิดแต่สานกึ ได้ เพอ่ื นให้อภยั ไมด่ ุไม่วา่
นบั แตน่ ้ีตอ่ ไป จะกลับตวั ใหม่ ลูกลงิ สัญญา
If you realize that you did
something wrong and feel sorry,
friends can forgive. “From now
on, I will only do the right thing,"
Little Monkey promises.
