1.DEFINITION OF A CAPACITOR

Capacitor has many names such as condenser (condenser) /
Capa (cap) / Cap (cap) / C (C), but for the word condenser in the
electricalshould not be called because will repeat with a part in
the air conditioning systemCapacitor translated into Thai means
Capacitor is an electronic device that is widely used. It is
responsible for storing and releasing electric charges.structural
characteristics It consists of 2 electrodes connected to the plate,
with an insulator (dielectric) in the middle for charging and
discharging or discharging.

It looks similar to charging the battery. When the capacitor is
connected to electricity Electrons will run to both sides of the
plate. When we want to release the charge, it can be done by
connecting both legs of the capacitor to collide. or through the
circuitAlthough the characteristics are similar to batteries. But the
capacitor duration will be very short.

2. CONSTRUCTION OF A CAPACITOR

A capacitor consists of two or more metal plates separated by
insulators, all of which are connected to a single coil. Of the
existing 2 lines, an electrical insulator called a dielectric act as a
barrier to a constant flowing current when the capacitor is
connected to The battery will cause current to flow for a short
time. and an electric charge will accumulate on the plate, the
current will stop flowing when the collector voltage is This process
draws energy from the battery, which is stored in the dielectric, in
the same way as the elastic of a storage balloon. where the
capacitor blocks the constant flow of current but allows the
changing current to flow through, allowing us to use it in the
separation of various parts of the circuit by maintaining different
voltages While the signal can still travel between parts, the
capacitor is the device involved. Associated with the time spent
controlling things to happen in order.

3. SYMBOL OF A CAPACITOR

4. PRINCIPLE OF A CAPACITOR

Working Principle of Capacitor or Capacitor is when the capacitor
is connected to a circuit or a complete power supply We will
notice that the current cannot flow through the capacitor. (looks
like an Open Circuit) because there is an insulator in the
capacitor At the same time, an electric charge that cannot cross
the insulator is formed on the conductor plank. causing that side
to have a lot of negative electric charge (Electron) On the other
hand, the conduction plan on the opposite side becomes a
positive charge because many electrons flow to the other side.
The charge attached to the conductor plan of the capacitor is
because Each side has electric charges of opposite polarity
causing an electric field to attract each other.(+ and - are
attracted to each other), which allows the capacitor to store
potential energy or voltage (Voltage).

5.APPILCATION OF A CAPACITOR

Capacitors can store electrical energy when connected to a
charging circuit. and when disconnected from the charging circuit
The stored energy is then dissipated. So it can be used as a
temporary battery. Capacitors are commonly used in electronic
devices to maintain power supply while replacing batteries. (to
prevent data loss in volatile memory) Conventional electrostatic
capacitors have an energy density of less than 360 joules per
kilogram. while capacitors using developing technologies can
provide more than 2.52 kJ/kg of energy [1]. In a car audio system,
large capacitors store energy for the amplifier to operate as
needed. Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) can be installed with
maintenance-free capacitors to extend its service life.
