Wildlife refers to undomesticated animal species, but has
come to include all organisms that grow or live wild in an
area without being introduced by humans.
Wildlife animals grows independently with the nature.
There are various species of wild animals that live deep in
the forest.

habitat and the species become extinct.

DEFINITION

Conservation is the act of protecting Earth’s natural resources for current and future
generations.




Wildlife conservation refers to the practice of protecting wild species and their habitats in order to
maintain healthy wildlife species or populations and to restore, protect or enhance natural
ecosystems.

STRATEGIES

Potected Areas, National Parks, Sanctuaries, Conservation Reserves and Community
Reserves need to be created in the country covering important habitats to provide
better protection to wildlife, including threatened species and their habitat.

The Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972 provides for stringent punishment for violation of
its provisions. The Act also provides for forfeiture of any equipment, vehicle or weapon
that is used for committing wildlife offence(s).

International cooperation includes goverments and Non-govermental
organization (NGO) to protect endangered species of wildlife

Wildlife has long been a common subject due to their benefits to
human and currently become endangered species .
Global wildlife populations have decreased by 68% since 1970 as a
result of human activity who harms the animals and it's habitat.
Thus, Cooperation from citizens is important to prevent the wildlife
become extinct that can effect the world ecosytems.
