WHAT IS
HOUSEKEEPING?
Housekeepers are responsible for the cleanliness of the
accommodation. It looks like a job, Beyond the scenes operation, like a
job in the kitchen. But the guests or visitors will be directly affected
by the quality of work similar to the kitchen department.Although
most of the housekeeping jobs are behind the scenes. But contact with
guests is also important. For example, a guest asks if the hotel has
vegetarian food. That question might not be about a housekeeping job.
But as an employee, you should know about the service. And the
amenities that the hotel provides are enough for the guests to answer
common questions.which on the one hand is to provide assistance to
the guests as well. If the housekeeper can answer the guest's
questions And answer clearly and willingly will help to make the guest
feel good. want to come back to stay or use the service at the hotel
again This is a good thing that benefits the hotel and all employees
who work in that hotel.

EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER
In some hotels, the housekeeping department is

hotels the housekeeping department is dependent on the

ASSISTANT HOUSEKEEPER
Floor Housekeeper or Assistant Housekeeper is
responsible for monitoring the work of the cleaning staff. or
room attendant Only working on one of the hotel floors.
ROOM ATTENDANT
room attendant Has a duty to clean and provide
services related to rooms such as bedrooms, living
rooms, shower rooms and toilets, including the corridor
in front of the room.
HOUSEKEEPER
The housekeeper is responsible for lifting or
moving heavy furniture. or dispose of the rubbish
Sometimes cleaning shared areas in hotels. In Thailand

LINE ROOM SUPERVISOR
Line Room Supervisor is responsible for all types
of fabrics used in the living room (such as sheets,
towels, blankets, etc.), restaurant and banquet fabrics
(including tablecloths, napkins, tablecloths) and staff
uniforms. by dispensing clean laundry collect used

ROOM STATUS USED IN

'V' = Vacant.
Busy room category is a status that starts with
'O' = Occupied.
Broken room category will be stats for inactive
rooms starting with 'O'.
The reserved room category will be the status that
starts with 'A' = Assign.
'V' = VACANT.
VC = Vacant Clean means a clean room the Housekeeper
has cleaned
VD = Vacant Dirty mean dirty room the housekeeper must clean
the room. for guests
VCI = Vacant Clean Inspected Means the room is clean. Supervisor
has checked.
VCP = Vacant Clean Pick Up means a clean room But the items in
the room are not complete, such as not filling the mini bar,
'O' = OCCUPIED.
OC = Occupied Clean meanss to the room has the guests are
staying.and already cleaned
OD = Occupied Dirty meanss to the room has the guests.
but not yet cleaned.
OCI = Occupied Clean Inspected meanss to the room has the guests
are staying. already cleaned and check by supervisor
BROKEN ROOM CATEGORY
STARTING WITH 'O'.
OOO = Out of Order means a temporary waste room can't sell
OOS = Out of Service means to a slightly broken room can be opened
for sale or as a showroom open to stay
OOI = Out of Inventory means the room is not for sale at all. may be
permanently damaged or is the owner's room or an office
'A' = ASSIGN.
Assign Clean means the room is clean and someone has already
reserved. Waiting for guests to stay.
Assign Dirty The housekeeper hasn't cleaned it yet. but has already
reserved.
