DESIGNERS & illustrated cover celebrating this auspicious event.
ILLUSTRATORS Happy lunar new year, everyone.

Ainina Hanani Our zine, though in its infancy, its volume is
Effa Razali always dedicated to the creative community in
Joey Wong Brunei and in this issue, we are delving into the
common thoughts, stereotypes and the inner work-
Luqman Hakim ings of the local creative community. ‘Inclusivity in
Maira Razmi The Local Creative Community’ analyses the
Nasihin Lisa common creative “cliques” in Brunei, ‘Fame in The
Sahira Shah Creative Industries’ questions how fame can affect
a creative in certain ways, and ‘Going Compact As
BACK COVER A Collective’ is a piece discussing what we could do
together to grow as a community. Furthermore, this
Nasihin Lisa issue also contains the public’s opinion of the
famous (or is it infamous?) trend ‘#SapotLokal’.
EDITORS Sounds interesting, right?

Danish Fikri Lastly, we hope you will enjoy this issue and
Joey Wong once again, happy lunar new year!
