Great Things

combined

Alvin ISD Community,
Thank you for entrusting the education of your children to the
teachers, staff and administrators of Alvin ISD We strive to
honor this trust every day and we will continually work to
improve the way we serve you and your family.
As part of our partnership with the families we serve, we are
committed to keeping you informed of matters with implications
for the safety and security of our students and campuses. The
nature of this commitment is that, from time to time, you receive
“parent update” e-mails from Alvin ISD providing clarity on a
particular incident. While these updates are critical, they often
reference infrequent events and, unfortunately, they tend to
overshadow the incredible things happening in our schools each
and every day.
We feel it is important to give you a quick glimpse into what is
happening in your schools on a daily basis. Our hope is that this
“parent update” will give you a quick snapshot into what occurred
in Alvin ISD yesterday, Wednesday, April 25, 2018.
The first Alvin ISD belief states, “Students achieve their
maximum potential when provided engaging learning
opportunities.” We hope that this belief is evidenced by this
update; however, we will continue to work to ensure this is
the reality for your children when they come to school.
If you have a question about Alvin ISD or a campus, please feel
welcomed and encouraged to reach out to your child’s teachers,
campus or district leaders, submit a question or feedback through
our “Let’s Talk” platform or reach out to me personally.
Thank you again for allowing our team to serve you and your
family.
