 Coaching is a relationship I have with my coach that is
designed to facilitate the creation/development of my
personal or professional goals and to develop and carry
out a strategy/plan for me to achieve those goals.

 Coaching includes increasing professional effectiveness
and results for students.

Partnership Principles

(Knight, 2007) These 7 principles will form the foundation of our work together.

 Equality – Each person’s thoughts and beliefs are held to be valuable
 Choice – One individual does not make decisions for another. Decisions are made

collaboratively and each makes his/her own choices.
 Voice – All individuals must have opportunities to express their points of view.

• In order to help determine a starting point for our work please review the
following rubric and reflect upon your level of performance for each
