Thepsatri Rajabhat University has determined a new Rajabhat strategy for local development based on 20-year Royal Policy (2017 to 2036). Every field of study need to implement teaching and learning approach that focuses on creating research for local development. In addition, academic services are provided by the university in the area of Sing Buri, Saraburi and Lop Buri, which the university has collaborated with other organization. The university allocated budgets to faculty and other departments for propelling university’s strategy for local development. NO. The study investigates the effect of ozone on reducing Geosmin and Unpleasant smell in Snake-head Fish, and gathers knowledge and technology from the research to transfer to the community enterprise group in Mae La Subdistrict, Sing Buri Province. The research activities have enabled the community enterprise group to apply the equipment technology for scaling Snake-head fish and reducing geosmin and Unpleasant smell in Snake-head fish flesh in the processing process into community products. This has resulted in the community having technology to enhance the processing of Pla Chon fish, which helps increase efficiency and reduce costs in the processing of Pla Chon fish, enhance competitiveness, and promote economic growth in Sing Buri Province and the country.

ANNUAL REPORT 2023 THEPSATRI RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY 106 Art and cultural works for local development The project to promote the conservation of local arts, culture, and wisdom, ‘Reviving the tradition of Loy Krathong Festival’ at Sri Surinoyathai Roundabout (Sarakaew), Muang District, Lopburi Province, on 7-8 November 2022 The project to draw a cloth of the Buddha at Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat temple in the 23rd Mueang Lop Buri Merit-making Festival, under the theme “Buddhism and the Five Precepts Leading Life,” at The King Narai’s Palace and Phra Sri Mahathat temple, Lop Buri Province, on 12 November 2022 Thepsatri Rajabhat University has implemented a university strategic plan for local development in the form of area-based development according to the university’s service areas in three provinces: Sing Buri, Lop Buri, and Saraburi, collectively known as the “3 Buri.” The project, in line with the local development strategy, focuses on “Development and academic services based on participatory research in the 3 Buri service areas.” It also aligns with government policies that emphasize improving the quality of life, economy, society, and culture of local people. They would possess great life skills and be able to apply their knowledge together with morality and ethics in their working life.
