From the GM

October brought an early large snowfall and uneven
weather for golf. We will remain open until consistent
cold temperatures and regular snow coverage sets in.
Please look for course updates on Facebook or call the
golf shop if anyone has questions about whether the
course is open for play.

The restaurant continues to be open for business. If you are in the area please
stop in we would love to see you. Friday Prime Rib continues to be a guest
favorite! A trip to the historic bar will be sure to make your day.

Please watch for information coming soon about the popular Black Friday Pass
sale. These golf rounds are sure to make a memorable gift for a family member
or friend. They are transferable and come at a discount. Act fast once available!

The Golf Club at Devils Tower wishes you a happy and safe Thanksgiving with

The Holiday season brings thoughts of thanks. Each dedicated staff
member at The Golf Club at Devils takes pride in the quality of service

Why do golf courses close in the winter?



The main reason golf courses close in winter months is it helps protect the grass
from damage resulting from frost and snow. Golf course turf is normally resilient to

traffic, but when ice crystals form inside the plants, they become brittle and
vulnerable to damage. Walking or driving over frost-covered grass may rupture plant

cells, leading to dead turf. In non-scientific terms we want you to have the best
product possible next season!

Welcome our new Food & Beverage Manager Scott West!

Scott graduated from the University of Vermont with a master's degree in finance and banking.
His undergraduate degree is in hotel and restaurant management. Scott attended Johnson &
Wales Culinary School where he graduated as an Executive Chef.

For the past ten years, he was the General Manager for all concessions
both at Mount Rushmore National Park and the Badlands National Park.

We are excited to have Scott as part of our team!

Community News

We are excited to share that we just received word that the new Red Bluff Medical Clinic
will be open on December 1st!
There will be an Open House on November 22, from 4-6 pm. It will be a chance to meet
the providers, chat with Physical Therapy, Healing Hands, Pharmacy staff and enjoy
some refreshments with them.
The Neiman family has been a big part of this clinic as well as many of our members. It is
truly a great asset for Hulett!
