Setup Guide – RPDO
UPS Retail Package Drop-Off Web System
Before you begin make sure that:
• The UPS Shipping Account Number assigned to your store available for
the setup process. (You will need this for the initial account setup
process).
• You have reliable Internet access at your store location.
Overview:
To gain access to the Retail Package Drop-Off (RPDO) system, you will
need to register your UPS store account to access MyUPS.com and
setup an administrative profile. This guide contains instructions to
guide you through the registration process. Before accessing the RPDO
application, you will need to secure a personal identification number
(PIN).

Registering on MyUPS.com
Access the following site via the Internet:
http://www.myups.com
If you are not a user of
MyUPS.com, Register your store
by clicking on the link on the
bottom of the ‘Reasons to
Register’ Section.
Complete the registration
process.
(Proceed onto the next page)
If you are already a user of MyUPS.com, Login by entering your User
ID and Password.

Important – Use your UPS Shipping Account Number when
registering or confirming access into MyUPS.com. If your UPS
Shipping Account Number is not configured as a UPS ASO, you
will not be able to complete the registration process.
After you have registered your store account into MyUPS.com, login
and confirm that you can securely access the application. The home
page should now be visible.
If you need to register your store account or you are unsure if it has
been associated with your account, Access the ‘Account Summary’
link by clicking on it.

If the UPS Shipping Account Number assigned to your ASO location is
already associated with your MyUPS.com account, it should be visible
in account summary.
If the UPS Shipping Account Number assigned to your ASO store has
not been associated within MyUPS.com, Click the ‘Add a UPS Account’
link.

Important – If you try to add your account twice or if you enter
an invalid UPS Shipping Account Number, you are likely to
encounter an error. You must only use the UPS Shipping Account
Number that is associated with your ASO account.

Enter all the requested information and select Continue.
• The UPS Shipping Account Number assigned to your store.
• A descriptive name for your account.
• The ZIP code assigned to your store.
• The country in which your store resides.
The UPS Shipping Account Number assigned to your ASO store should
now be visible in the Account Summary section as shown below.

Requesting Administrative Access
After you have logged into MyUPS.com, Access the account
administration site by typing in the following URL:
https://www.ups.com/useradmin/adminprofile?loc=en_US
The ‘My Administration Profile’ window should be visible as pictured
below. If you had previously set up your store account for
administrative access, the UPS Shipping Account Number would be
listed under the ‘UPS Accounts’ section of the ‘My Administration
Profile’.
If your Shipping Account Number is not listed under the UPS Accounts
section, Click on the ‘Request Administrative Authority’ link.

Enter the requested information and select Continue.
• The UPS Shipping Account Number assigned to your store
• A descriptive name for your account

store is displayed. Ensure that the ‘Available Authority’ checkbox is
checked and select Continue.

Confirm that the following options are selected (defaulted):
• Retail Package Drop-Off
• Service Center Locator Self-Maintenance
Make sure that both options are selected and click the Continue
button.

Review the legal agreement. You will need to Accept the terms in
order to continue.
Important – Once you complete the ID Request process, a PIN
letter will be mailed to the attention of the Controller at your
address. You will need to re-access your MyUPS.com account to
complete the setup process after you receive your PIN letter.
Use the section below to record your MyUPS.com login and password
information.

Note: In order to protect the integrity of your account information, it is
important that you retain this document in a safe location.

10 business days of your request, please call 1-800-776-9911

PIN Letter – Before You Continue:
• Disregard the URL(s) referenced in the PIN Letter. To
properly activate your account, make sure you follow the
instructions listed below.
• Continue to complete the PIN Activation Process listed below.
Access MyUPS.com via the following internet link:
https://www.ups.com/servlet/login
Enter your User ID and Password and Click on the Log In button.

After you have logged into MyUPS.com, Access the Administration PIN
activation site by typing in the following URL:
https://www.ups.com/useradmin/aopin
Enter the requested information and select Continue.
• Name/business title for your account (if available)
• Company name (if available)
• UPS Shipping Account Number assigned to your store
• ZIP code assigned to your store
• Country in which your store resides.
• PIN (obtained from the PIN letter)

Access the User Administration site by typing in the following URL:

If the status on your account is not active, activate your PIN by
selecting ‘Activate PIN’ next to the UPS Shipping Account Number
listed on the screen.

Access the RPDO application via the following Internet link:
http://wwwapps.ups.com/rdo/InputPkg.rdo
The UPS Shipping Account Number assigned to your ASO store, the
same account that was set up in MyUPS.com, should now be visible in
the UPS Shipping Account Number pull down menu. Once you confirm
that the account number is correct, click the Submit button.

Click the Profile Tab on the menu bar.

Enter the ‘Time Zone’ of your store location via the pull-down
menu.
Enter the ‘Scale Type’ from the pull-down menu.
Select the ‘Update’ button.

A message that confirms your update should now be visible.
Select Continue.
Congratulations!
The RPDO setup process should now be complete.
Important – You will not receive a reimbursement unless you
generate a manifest. This function is typically performed in
conjunction with the UPS package pickup process; the ‘Generate
Manifest’ button can be accessed on the ‘Manifest’ tab.
