Vanessa is shampooed and conditioned using CHI’s Magnifies Volume Shampoo and Conditioner to add
more volume to the hairstyle. I then detangled Vanessa by combing through her hair with a large paddle
brush. I applied BIOSILK Silk Therapy and Silk Pomade to add shine to the hair, control any flyways and
to help the hairstyle hold its shape. After detangling the hair, I thoroughly dried 80% of the hair with the
CHI Rocket Hairdryer and a large paddle. Next i take one to two inch subsections and blow drying the
hair with my CHI Rocket Hairdryer and a Ceramic Round Boar Large Brush. Once I wrap the hair around
the round brush I hold the blow drier at a 45-degree angle making sure to brick lay each section as I
went throughout the hair. Once completed I use BIOSILK Finishing Spray to keep the look in place

After being detangled I use my CHI Rocket Hairdryer and paddle brush to blow-dry the hair straight. I
then use my CHI G2 flat iron to create Thermal Waves throughout the hair style. After the hair is
completely dry I take a one to two-inch subsection and heat up the strand of hair using my CHI G2 flat
iron. I then rerun the flat iron through the strand this time tilting the iron toward me and holding for a
few seconds also making sure to kept tension on the end of the strand; I slide further down the strand
tilting the iron away from me keeping tension on the end of the stand and holding for a few seconds. I
repeat then same movement through the rest of the hair. Once the hair has cooled down I comb
through it using my CHI Turbo Ionic Carbon Large Detailing Tail Comb CB700 after achieving my desired
style I set the complete looking using BIOSILK Finishing Spray.

Paddle Brush. Adding BIOSILK Silk Therapy to create smoothness and flyaway control she is blow dried
removing 80% of the moisture using CHI Rocket Hairdryer and CHI Large Paddle Brush. She is then re
blow-dried straight using CHI Large Paddle Brush or CHI 9 Row Styling Brush. Next I used CHI G2 Flat iron
and run it through the hair making sure each strand is completely straight. After the hair has cooled I set
the style using BIOSILK Finishing spray.

apply the BIOSILK Finishing spray before removing the clips and combing the hair with CHI Turbo Ionic
Carbon Large Detailing Tail Comb. Using CHI Backcomb Brush I backcomb each section together to give
more volume and to get rid of any noticeable sectioning before setting the style with BIOSILK Finishing
Spray.

Carbon Large Detailing Tail Comb. I recreate a u-shaped sectioning from the hairline to the crown and
backcombing the section giving it more volume I push the section slightly up giving the section a raised
look before pinning it to the crown of the head. I then take two sections from both sides of the head and
cover the pins before setting the hair with BIOSILK Finishing spray.

flyaways she is blow dried removing 80% of the moisture using CHI Rocket Hairdryer and CHI Large
Paddle Brush. She is then re blow-dried straight using CHI 9 Row Styling Brush. Next I create horizontal
subsections using the Turbo Ionic Carbon Tail Comb CB800 and curling each strand with a DURA CHI
Marcel Iron 1” and pinning the curl to the head with a double prong clip. I repeated the step to each
strand of hair. After I allow the curls to completely cool I lightly apply the BIOSILK Finishing spray before
removing the clips and combing the hair with CHI Turbo Ionic Carbon Large Detailing Tail Comb. After
being combed to the desired look the style is set with BIOSILK Finishing Spray.

Megan is shampooed and conditioned using CHI’s Magnifies Volume Shampoo and Conditioner to add
more volume to the hairstyle. After being shampooed I detangled Megan by combing through her hair
with a large paddle brush and BIOSILK Silk Therapy to add shine and prevent flyaways. I remove some of
the moisture with a towel before spraying her hair with dry fast setting lotion to give hold to the hair. I
use CHI Rocket Hairdryer with a diffuser attachment to dry the hair without altering her natural curly
pattern. Next I made a section on both sides of the head starting at the recession point to behind the
ears, using BIOSILK Silk Pomade and a small amount of gel I apply it to the section combing the section
back using CHI Backcomb Brush and pinning it to the scalp making it nice and slick. I Repeat to the
opposite side. After both sides are slicked back I apply BIOSILK Finishing Spray to the entire hairstyle.

overall silky appearance. After being shampooed and conditioned she is detangled with a CHI Large
Paddle Brush. Adding BIOSILK Silk Therapy to create smoothness and flyaway control she is blow dried
removing 80% of the moisture using CHI Rocket Hairdryer and CHI Large Paddle Brush. She is then re
blow-dried straight using CHI Large Paddle Brush or CHI 9 Row Styling Brush. Next I used CHI G2 Flat iron

curling each strand with a DURA CHI Marcel Iron 1” and pinning the curl to the head with a double prong
clip. I repeated the step to each strand of hair. After I allow the curls to completely cool I lightly apply
the BIOSILK Finishing spray before removing the clips and combing the hair with CHI Turbo Ionic Carbon
Large Detailing Tail Comb. I create a u-shaped sectioning from the hairline to the crown and backcomb
the section giving it more volume I push the section slightly up giving the section a raised look before
pinning it to the crown of the head. I then take two sections from both sides of the head braid them in a
regular braid and place on top of base and secure use any loose hair or re arrange hair to cover pins
before setting it with BIOSILK Finishing spray.

double prong clip. I repeated the step to each strand of hair. After I allow the curls to completely cool I
lightly apply the BIOSILK Finishing spray before removing the clips and combing the hair with CHI Turbo
Ionic Carbon Large Detailing Tail Comb. Using CHI Backcomb Brush. I backcomb each section vertically
together to give more volume and to get rid of any noticeable sectioning before setting the style with
BIOSILK Finishing Spray.

After being detangled I use my CHI Rocket Hairdryer and CHI Large Paddle Brush to remove all the
moisture from the hair. Next I create horizontal using the Turbo Ionic Carbon Tail Comb CB800 and
curling each strand with a DURA CHI Marcel Iron 1” and pinning the curl to the head with a double prong
clip. I repeated the step to each strand of hair. After I allow the curls to completely cool I lightly apply
the BIOSILK Finishing spray before removing the clips and combing the hair with CHI Turbo Ionic Carbon
Large Detailing Tail Comb. I create a u-shaped sectioning from the hairline to the crown and backcomb
the section giving it more volume I push the section slightly up giving the section a raised look before
pinning it to the crown of the head. I then take two braided sections from both sides of the head to
cover the pins before setting it using BIOSILK Finishing spray.

Paddle Brush. Adding BIOSILK Silk Therapy to create smoothness and flyaway control she is blow dried
removing 80% of the moisture using CHI Rocket Hairdryer and CHI Large Paddle brush. Next i take one to
two inch subsections and blow drying the hair with my CHI Rocket Hairdryer and a Ceramic Round Boar
Large Brush. Once I wrap the hair around the round brush I hold the blow drier at a 45-degree angle
making sure to brick lay each section as I went throughout the hair. I make a section from one ear to the
other and pin up using a duck bill clip. Then I take the hair that has been left out and gather it creating a
ponytail. To secure the ponytail I take a pony tail holder and attach two hairpins (one on each side).
Place on of the pins into the center of the ponytail on top holding it with my thumb I wrap the elastic
around the gathered hair and place the second pin at the base of the ponytail. Using my CHI
Backcombing brush and lightly spraying the ponytail with BIOSILK Finishing Spray I tease the pony tail
and roll in underneath its self, pinning it to the base of the ponytail creating a chignon. I spread the
chignon to make it wider. Next taking the hair that is clipped up I make sure all holes and clip are
covered by the remaining hair before setting the style with BIOSILK Finishing spray.

more volume to the hairstyle. I then detangled Vanessa by combing through her hair with a large paddle
brush. I apply BIOSILK Silk Therapy, to give shine and help with any flyaways, and setting lotion to the
hair give the hair a stronger hold. To wet set the hair I used beige and turquoise rollers on the hair brick
laying them. Put her under the drier for 35-45 minutes before taking the rollers out and combing the
style out with a CHI Turbo Ionic Carbon Large Detailing Tail Comb. I section the side of the head from the
recession line to the back of the ear. I make the section into four smaller subsections and cornrow the
four sections to the side of the head. After the style is complete I set it with BIOSILK Finishing Spray.

the head . After both sides are cornrowed I apply BIOSILK Finishing Spray to the entire hairstyle.

Marcel Iron 1” and pinning the curl to the head with a double prong clip. I repeated the step to each
strand of hair. After I allow the curls to completely cool I lightly apply the BIOSILK Finishing spray before
removing the clips and combing the hair with CHI Turbo Ionic Carbon Large Detailing Tail Comb. After
being combed to the desired look. I make a section between the parting replacing it with a cornrow
braid I then style is set with BIOSILK Finishing Spray.

brush. I apply BIOSILK Silk Therapy and Silk Pomade to the hair to prevent flyaway and hold the hairstyle.
After being detangled I use my CHI Rocket Hairdryer and paddle brush to blow-dry the hair straight. I
then use my CHI G2 flat iron to create Thermal Waves throughout the hair style. After the hair is

through it using my CHI Turbo Ionic Carbon Large Detailing Tail Comb CB700 . I then creating a u-shaped
section from the hair line to the crown and French braid the section and tie it with an elastic rubber bad.
I take a few strands of hair to cover the elastic by crossing them over each other and pinning the strands
After achieving my desired style I set the complete looking using BIOSILK Finishing Spray.

an overall silky appearance. After being shampooed and conditioned she is detangled with a CHI Large
Paddle Brush. Adding BIOSILK Silk Therapy to create smoothness and flyaway control she is blow dried
removing 80% of the moisture using CHI Rocket Hairdryer and CHI Large Paddle brush. Next i take one to
two inch subsections and blow drying the hair with my CHI Rocket Hairdryer and a Ceramic Round Boar
Large Brush. Once I wrap the hair around the round brush I hold the blow drier at a 45-degree angle
making sure to brick lay each section as I went throughout the hair. I make a section from one ear to the
other and pin up using a duck bill clip. Then I take the hair that has been left out and gather it creating a
ponytail. To secure the ponytail I take a pony tail holder and attach two hairpins (one on each side).
Place on of the pins into the center of the ponytail on top holding it with my thumb I wrap the elastic
around the gathered hair and place the second pin at the base of the ponytail. Using my CHI
Backcombing brush and lightly spraying the ponytail with BIOSILK Finishing Spray I tease the pony tail
and roll in underneath its self, pinning it to the base of the ponytail creating a chignon. I spread the
chignon to make it wider. Next taking the hair that is clipped up I make a section about an inch or two
wide and braid I loosen the braid by pulling on each loop and place it in the middle of the style . I use the
remaining upper section to make sure all holes and clip are covered by the remaining hair before setting
the style with BIOSILK Finishing spray.
